Thanks for all your work Monty, It truly is a joy to have such great steam era content!

The document at the beginning Tom is called a Guards Journal, in my BR days it was a BR87221 publication. It shows train weights and timings for any given train consist movement, for trip workings on the same shift you'd have up to 4/5 different train diagram numbers and loading weights, they were quite comprehensive and more paperwork for Guards to complete, they were always moaning when they didn't have a pen or pencil handy to scribble the details down.

Great video. Yes there is a footbridge at Bournemouth Central. Brought bacl memories. Father was a driver there. On the downside wall Underneath the signal box was drivers names and engine number all done by staff. Great to see the guards cabin and next door the shunters and porters messroom.

Had to click on this video, talk about a trip down memory lane, I'm just old enough remembering watching the steam trains coming in to Poole I use to stand on the footbridge with my older brother who use to collect the names and numbers, the rail crossing was the High street the approach to the station had a news agency store where I use to do a paper round from, the old Poole station had so much character, it was knocked down and the new station was smaller and soulless and the introduction of the diesels I lost interest then because they all looked the same, the town was totally revamped with the loss of a old cinema and bus station replaced with a Barclays building and shopping centre again totally changed the look of the upper town. That stadium is where the Poole Pirates race, I know I'm looking at this through rose tinted glasses, but I can't say the future has changed for the better?

It looks just like the real station, even the outside buildings are correct !!

GAD guys are very impressive and the routes are amazing, I made some bits for one of their routes the other month and it got thrown back in to my face sadly would love to get my teeth into something like this too.

Mark, another great video and commentary. This route raises the bar with developrs on what is achievable witihin TS with stable FPS, no corners cut on detail and it's a freeware route. Only observation is that if some low poly locomotives could show chimney particles.

Was done on purpose particles are one of the worst things for framerate impact I said to them to avoid it and instead if needed in the future just make an emitter object to be placed manually so you can pick and choose

Looks great. Poole (my home town) looks fantastic.

Does train simulator classic have auto firing for steam locomotives?

How did you download the vp packs I cant get them to install?
