@@Maximilian7992 it will depend mainly on the licensing and whether Amtrak want to have the Avelia Liberty included on TS or not. I do agree it would be nice to have it added for TS, but then again they could be like BNSF and say no or restrict it to US only. So far, Amtrak have allowed their branding and logo allowed for worldwide sale, so I would assume that wouldn’t be a problem. I do admit we need a SC44 charger and ALC42 charger as well.

The new Avelia Liberty testing and operated by Amtrak in the United States is going to be joining the Acela Express which is currently delayed right now due to pantograph defects. If Dovetail adds the Avelia Liberty into the game then there’s going to be another high speed representing America!

Amtrak did recently unveil its new Acela train sets. I think they haven’t added the new Acela trains to the game yet

The Acela Express is currently the only electric high-speed train in service in America, but testing is underway for the Avelia Liberty which will replace the Acela. But the German ICE1 did test runs in America in the early 90s. There is also a diesel high-speed line in Florida called Brightline, with another route being built out of Las Vegas

We in America, don't have alot of infrastructure for Hi-Speed trains. Some states began putting in some Hi-Speed railroad ties and rails. Plus we have many populated and can only go certain speeds through such areas.

I really wish that the orange TGV train was in this race.

Same. After all its just a train game. If this was real life its quite clear none of the British trains would even get to the top. And also the pendolino isn't that fast at accelerating.

The second TGV is an Atlantique, a TGV with 10 coaches instead of 8 which is what the réseau has.

I hate class 801 the seats are rock hard I am going to break my butt

1st french high speed test was in 1955 at 331km/h

The tgv next to the class 390 stopped before the other tgv

BTW I’m American and love trains so yea

If you let the TGVs spin up on 250+miles of track, they will beat every other train. Their safety systems prevent them from doing so.

Wrong, the velaro ICE 3 would probably win. The TGV which got 500 kmh+ in the speed test was a modified prototype specifically made for the speed test which there is only one of. Actual normal TGVs which you see all day would only get like 230+ mph without a speed cap. So no, if this was in real life it wouldn't come first.

@@geminatrafalgar8978 No, the ICE 3 velaro was stated to go 350 kmh - 400 kmh without a speed cap aka 217 to 250 mph. Its on the Siemens website. I can give you a link of you want. And keep in mind Siemens are the creators of the ICE 3 velaro.

@@geminatrafalgar8978 No, I don't think so the ICE 3 beats the TGV in both acceleration and speed. The TGV used in the speed test was a modified prototype which there is only one of in the world.

Embarrassing for not knowing TGV's history? Nah, wouldn't say that, mate. We all tend to look up and put to memory what draws our interest the most. I probably wouldn't know or care about France's most famous high speed train if it wasn't included in most train documentaries or books I've watched or read. America doesn’t really use high speed trains because most of our trains go faster than a lot of other countries for instance the Northeast corridor the most well-known and most used Corredor in America in some locations has a speed limit of 90 the even local commuter trains will get up to that speed meanwhile in many other countries there equivalencies would be lucky to see 70

It's a shame dovetail games never did a route for Italy, there are a lot of high speed trains, the ETR400, ETR500, ETR450, ETR600,ETR675, ETR575, ETR700, ETR 485, They are a lot
