221/220 The 221's Has A Tilting Mechanism And Both Trains Has MAX Speeds Of 125MPH And The 220 Used To Be In Virgin Trains West Coast That's Why The Tops Look Very Different And The Livery Of The 43 And 220 Is The Cross Country Livery Not Kings Cross Livery

they are very nice colours

The 220 class had two sets of full trains therefore it had four engines compared to the 91 or the 390 giving it more horsepower and tractive effort. That’s why I think that the 220’s stats were hyper inflated and/or cheating

Irl ive seen a HST and 221 and they were both passing one in August one in this month or last month and tip you can tell which train is which 221 is 5 cars 220 4 cars 222 7 cars you can get a 221 double double 221 10 cars 220 double 8 cars 221 mixed 220 9 cars and a crosscounty HSTs can be formed of 8 cars 8 cars are owned by crosscounty or HSTs can be formed of 10 cars 10 cars owned by GWR/first but rn HSTs most HSTs are out of service
