All Awesome new content coming! February is going to be best Month of the year! So excited for NEC Trenton Route! I really love that NJT is coming to TSW3! Ever since two years ago when mentioned that Dovetail had the NJT license, I've been wating for a NJT route to come. Exciting that NYP to Trenton route is coming and hopefully this means eventually one day the Midtown Direct line of Dover to NYP would come as well since I live near end of line of this (Main Line/Morris & Essex line). Also excited for Acela Express trains coming, they are fantastic trains. Thanks to DTG for updating the NEC Boston route as well as Sherman Hill Route!

Everything looks amazing! I am very exited for the NEC updates,the Acela, and ESPECIALLY NJT! Take your time at dovetail games, your work looks amazing! (Also I am very exited for return AGAIN of the ACS-64 and the ex Metroliner cab car:)

Agreed, in my opinion the Peak Forest route with the brand new 4F will probably be the best of the two new UK dlc's upcoming for TSW, but am still excited to see the Midland mainline added to TSW with both the HST & brand new class 158s in East Midlands trains livery.

You guys should do super-duper long routes, like the WHOLE northeast corridor, split it into multiple DLCs and enable routes between them like Layers. Like Boston - Providence and New-York to Trenton, you should fill the gaps and have the whole Northeast Corridor from Boston to New York Running.

And also the little walk path in black forest def wanna see more of that! Like fav part of Horseshoe was that area by museum could hang out and watch trains and sunset. Also what I like about training center too is like the stands you can walk up on (maybe a future community event could unlock railfan ai at training center kinda like the holiday decorations you all did)

Looking forward to everything. I usually like the more modern trains the most, but it’s nice to mix in the older stuff as well for variety.

I’m really concerned here about The New York Penn - Trenton Route and The Acela Express layer. Not many people realize this but between New York Penn and Trenton. The Acela Express only makes two stops, that’s Newark Penn and Metropark. Majority of The Acela Express don’t even stop at Trenton. There’s only 2 on the current timetable that do, that’s Acela Express #2103 (6AM outta NYP) and Acela Express #2126 (9PM outta Trenton) If DTG sticks 100% to the realism here, you would only be able to run 2 Acela Express Trains the entire length of the route and won’t be able to run past Metropark and run 150 through Princeton, NJ on majority of the Acela Express Services on this Route at all which would absolutely suck. If the Route went all the way down to Philly that wouldn’t be an issue because you could run them straight through Trenton down to Philly and wouldn’t have to worry about this. The only way anyone can run all The Acela Express Trains on the timetable the full length would be if every Acela Express Train made an unrealistic stop at Trenton so that way you can run every Acela the full length of the Route. Again If DTG sticks 100% to realism, you’re NOT running majority of The Acelas past Metropark and WON’T BE ABLE to run 150 through Princeton, NJ. Something to really think about. This is something a lot of people have overlooked. My question is this; DTG, are you guys going to make every Acela Express Train in the timetable on NYP-Trenton stop at Trenton so that way you can run them the full length of the Route or are you sticking 100% to the realism and only gonna have two run the full length? It honestly would be better if you made all The Acelas make the unrealistic stop and start from Trenton for The Acela Express layer to work out for everyone. This is something I really wanted to know before I buy this Route.

Who knows, Dovetail likes to use 2019 timetables anyways, so maybe more Acelas will stop at Trenton because of this

@@TechLegendGames Back in 2019, there were only 3 Acela Express Trains that stopped at Trenton. Acela Express #2103, #2126 and #2175 (2175 stopped at Trenton several months throughout that year back then) Even if the timetable on this Route is based on a 2019 one, majority of The Acelas still never stopped there so the problem of the Acela Layer of this Route would still be there if they stuck 100% to the realism.

This is my question. IIRC, only like one train a direction stops at trenton and about one or two at metropark. Unless they tweak the schedule..... I Mean, in LIRR, They have Ronkonkoma trains run local on the mainline between Jamaica and Hicksville.

@@ixofxiii Now that you mention it I took another look at the current Acela Express schedule right now and less Acela Express Trains stop at Metropark right now than I thought they did. I’m not sure if the New York Penn - Trenton Route is gonna be based off a 2019 timetable or not but you’re right, The Acela Layer definitely needs tweaking. DTG is going to have to compromise on the Layer and make majority of them stop at Metropark and Trenton for the entire layer to work for everyone. They would be much better off with 2019 Acela Timetable for this Route and then compromising it so that way they all stop at Trenton. They have to make this work by compromising.

While it's unlikely, maybe they'll add a feature that a service can end while you're moving, by reaching a "Go via" trigger. If they did add this, it would also open up some possibilities on other routes.

If you are keen on doing another steam train-centred scenario for Train Sim to satisfy American followers, I can suggest shedding the spotlight on the Southern Pacific Cab-Forward Articulated locomotives working through the Sierra Nevada on Southern Pacific during the heyday of steam. I chose this as I thought the Union Pacific Big Boy gets enough attention as it is, and it kind of overshadows the unique qualities from operating a Cab Forward, which is not possible to see in reality as the only surviving example is confined to museum display in Sacramento, California. Giving the most authentic representation in Train Sim would be the next best thing for them, and of course since the scenario is Southern Pacific-oriented, you can include a passenger train scenario that also encompasses the streamlined Daylight hauled by the magnificent GS class 4-8-4, represented in active preservation today by 4449 based in Portland, Oregon. It was apparently leaked some time ago that TSG is working on a BR 218 DLC. However, this would come after both the BR 420 and the BR 232, so definitely not in the near future.

Mergers are almost impossible due to technical problems. Especially an old map like LIRR. But I guess they are going to put some AI traffic on Penn

They still have a lot of sections to do. Washington to baltimore. Nyp to new haven or possibly all the way to providence. Baltimore to philly, philly to trenton. Lots of possibilities. Don't know how the routes would be divided to though

Love that we're getting some Rheintal action soon, although the era is really putting me off massively which is a shame. Might still be fun but I would have preferred something a lot closer to present day, and I hope this doesn't turn into a trend for the German routes to come.

There has been too much modern german content in tsw that utilized the same few locomotives which after a while, you kinda get tired of driving the same thing over and over again. This is basically the only german content that is set in the past. Bremen Oldenburg is still modern since it is set in 2009 i believe which is more modern than old

Niddertalbahn is still heavy work in progress. Maik, the main person behind TSG said that he never would have allowed DTG to release the video because lots of things were unfinished, but DTG never told him his video would be made public

@@declangaming24 The new Midland mainline route add-on is Lancaster to Derby & Nottingham, it will NOT include the lines up to Sheffield. The add-on will release with the BR Class 43 HST with MK3 coaches in East Midlands Trains livery, And the BR Class 158 super sprinter's in East Midlands Trains livery. I hope this information is useful for you with understanding what your actually getting with the new upcoming Midland mainline route add-on.

@@Greggs30806 that's so annoyed me but it doesn't make sense how you can't do a service to Nottingham via Sheffield its been done before and it would give players the freedom of walking around Sheffield station +the 158s you can do the services to Nottingham and back that's what I was looking forward to going to my local station and seeing how they would of done it virtually compared to the real thing tram sim needs Sheffield trams.

So do we get a free upgrade like we used to with train simulator or do we have to buy this again.

Tsg is still changing interior sounds. However, he does not have original recordings so he can't change certain things such as the external sounds. So it'll share sounds with the 612. But there are limitations due to not having original sound recordings

first need licenses, then need the expertise and creating every single unique asset. There's a whole process behind a route, but with no license and no previous license in tsc and none in tsw, can't make an Indian route

Why can’t they make American routes that don’t exist in any train sim , that route has been done so many times, something new and fresh please for America
