    I like the different way to film a movie with the camera mounted up top. Thank you Shane...

    Glad you liked it Stephen. I have a few like that. My favourite is Looking Back on the Wainwright which is the top of an SD75I.

    Ooohhhh I can't wait! I actually just caught 5600's sister about half an hour ago with 2501 leading! To my surprise it seems to have a K5HL too... unfortunately didn't get there in time to set up but I still got a video :P

    @@AlbertaBoundRailfanning That's interesting, because this month I am staring at a very nicely lit 2511. You should have all of the 2500 Canadian cabs soon. Looking forward to seeing the video, and I hope you've made some progress with the computer issues.

    At this rate the SD70Is and Dash9 Canadian Cabs should both be checked off soon :P the past 5 trains I've seen have all had SD70Is in the consist! No progress with the computer issues... sadly I think a return is going to take place in the near future....

    What is 0.7 HPT?

  • @CanadianrailroadsCa

    @CanadianrailroadsCa

    Hi Able G. Your locomotives are producing 0.7 horse power for each ton of freight. It's just your total horse power divided by the tonnage of the train, not including the locomotives.

    Nice video! What camera angle do you prefer, I put mine up on the front railing but it produced so much wind noise. I ordered some wind covers for my GoPro, hopefully that'll help

    Hi Le Sad Train Man. Visually I prefer the front views, both unobstructed, and from in the cab, but nothing beats the sound of the rear views. I used the full dust/water proof case which muffled the sound a little. Unfortunately it did nothing to stop the wind noise.

    @@lesadtrainman I carried 5 batteries, and as long as they were freshly charged, I got about 1.25 hours out of each one. It was pretty rare I got a unit with a plug, so I never carried a charger.
