very nice indeed, might want to put a track switcher in and or maybe a indicator light for the reverse gear so you know if its on or not.

Maybe for the container cars you could make a suicide-bottom type of transport car. That being a container carriage that doesn’t have a bottom for the container to sit bon, but brackets on the bottom to stop train hoppers from hitching a ride

That's how prot-type well cars are...unfortunately, train hoppers get around this...

in my opinion the throttle levers could be placed like in planes , it would look better and the cockpit wont be so empty. but thats just my opinion. and red rear lights (like in cars)

Why are you doing throttle separate from the clutch. Why not have a clutch controller?
