Thansk a lot. I joined the railroad club 1972 and have been an active member during 16 years. It runns along the lake Anten and the view is really beautiful. More trees and bushes will be cut down as they shadow the lake. The main station in Anten had 3 tracks 1971 when they started. The storage yard was started 1972. I was one of the guys hand nailing the first track. Thank You for watching and writing.

@@Stefan_Boerjesson Я в своем родном городе много лет продвигал проект парковой железной дороги 750мм протяженностью 8км. Собрать средства не удалось. Но я радуясь за тех, кому это удалось. Строю у себя на участке трек длиной 70 метров, а дальше в мир мечты.

@@SteamCoal This railroad was opened the year 1900 and ran until 1970-71. After that the club rented it for many years and finally bought it.

Was waiting to see what safe operating procedures are. I noticed the signals at one station. There was no ‘staff or ticket’ and no obvious absolute block.

One important detail is not visible. That is that in the timetable the drivers use it states when the trains meet in Anten and in Kvarnabo. The procedure is a 100 year old state railway procedure. What in particular did You of? Thank You for watcing and writing.

Thank You for watching and writing. The train housing the camera is a 1957 diesel rail car, carrying 44 sitting passengers and unknown number of people standing. The cargo train loco is the same old. Originally it was built for 802 mm tracks but was built to be convertible, among others to our 891 mm track.

@@davebowman6497 Nej. Föreningens namn är Anten Gräfsnäs Järnväg. Den startade som Stora Lundby Järnvägs....... men bytte till AGJ ganska tidigt.

The trains run from June to August, and special Christmas trains in the end of November, beginning of December. It's a vereran railroad operated by volounteers. You can lok at AGJ 'dot' net. Thank You for watching and writing.

That's correct, 3 Swedish feet, 297 millimeter, shorter then the Imperial foot being 304.8 milimeter.

It would be so simple to use a token block system, which they obviously don't do. So is this a "one train on line" railway? Ta.

@@Peasmouldia Yes. Only one train is allowed on the line. In the timetable for the driver it states when there is a train to meet. If that other train has not arrived the train driver will not start what ever sign he is given. Tokens have not ever been used in Sweden as far as I know.

I didn't see the exchange of a token or a signal pulled off to enter a single line ,just the wave of a white bat by somebody on the ground ! Is this safe ?
