Train driver's view: Local freight to Dordrecht industrie

Welcome on our very hot journey from the Kijfhoek to Dordrecht Industrie, it's not a long one, only around 20 minutes long ride. Highest speed we went the day was 60km/h and most of the time not faster than 40km/h. There is one customer left on Dordrecht Industrie (Ddri) we have around 2 trains daily. one in the morning and one in the evening.
We where delayed because our first locomotive broke down again because of the warmth (yes, the mechanics just gave clearance on the locomotive and it stopped working again)
I also needed to do some editing in the sounds of the video since this is a ride with a conductor on it, so had to remove some chit chat chatter and also got rid of some call's with the control tower.

Are you a train driver? Do you know if this shunting business in Rotterdam area is mostly done on week days or more on weekends, or is there not really any difference? Thanks!

Hi, sorry for the late response, been quiet busy lately... But the Rotterdam area is pretty much served 24/7, although there is less traffic in weekends than normal. Sunday is probably the worst day if you want to see something.
Waarom kon je gewoon oprijden bij 17:29? Had je vooraf al toestemming van de TRDL?

Ja, wij bellen of worden altijd van te voren gebeld om de staart op te rijden, alleen bewerk ik alle gesprekken met de trdl weg uit de video's.
