i really love when you use actual buildings in ur cities because passing that tower in berlin sometimes and seeing it in ur fictional city is just really fun to see

with asturis and aurelia beeing my fav projects of any CS content creator. i cant wait to see what you can come up with in CS2 (probably need to wait for some anarchy mods first)

Really nice addition this time around. The word you were looking for with the pond might simply be 'bioluminescent', if it could be explained by that pond having.. I dunno, some kind of plankton or bacteria or whatever that glows in it. Something of the sort. It's isolated from the ocean enough to maintain it. The multilayered areas here are really cool, something about how it's not all just buildings with several distinct levels but also the ground - and some of it being sunken into the ground instead of all on top - makes this part probably one of my favorite areas in the city so far, though all of them have been excellent so it's hard to choose.

Cinematics look great! Really excited for this first tram ride :)

i once lived near that Berlin building, called "der Pinsel", instantly recognized it 😂

I know its annoying to set up but it would be amazing if you could make an asset collection of all the assets you use in Asturis. Your city is so amazing and creative and I'd really like to recreate it's unqiue style

Considering the cylindrical shape of this red building, this could be the command center for the regional railway network. Perhaps have this showcased using signs of an imaginary railway company or something.

"Bierpinsel" is the name of the real world building used as a control tower. It literally translates into beer paintbrush.

Cinematics look great! Huge improvement! They already looked good, but now even better. The improvement is noticeable.

I have a strong suspicion that Cities Skylines 2 will not be able to produce such incredible designs as Akruas is pulling off here. I'm looking forward to it but, initially I don't know if it will be the best thing for advanced creators.

19:00 the thing you see in Europe is Ivy, the hanging plants in a jungle are vines. Also I just noticed. I think ivy is always singular? I think if I hear it plural I assume there many species of ivy?

You should build a housing development on top of a train depo like what MTR does in Hong Kong

i am 500 hours into this game and i still dont know half the mods you use and cant make things half as nice as you. dammit. it takes so much specific skill and nuance to get good at this game. how have i never heard of procedural objects? thank you for the video.

You could charge people $250,000.00 to sit in an empty concrete tube in a parking lot facing one end covered in a projection screen showing cinematics of Asturis. Everyone would be awed by what they see, nothing would implode, and no one would need to search for them.

Man, please tell us what exactly graphic settings and mods do you use to get such smooth, sharp and detailed in-game picture. I have RX 6700 XT, bunch of graphic mods but I never get this quality of picture unless I use Dynamic Resolution with low FPS and my videocard is overheating..

I have the same card and removed all mods I had. Last week I used the mods that City Planner Plays has in his latest collection. I can't tell you what mods they are from memory, but the image is much better. The card is performing well. I definitely had conflicting "improvements". Haven't used it in big cities yet, but it is a promising start.

The building placed at 2:07 (and later doubled up) is the "Bierpinsel", a restaurant building from 1976, in south-western Berlin. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bierpinsel

There are some color tweaks in Theme Mixer

are you still using 2700x? 4070 may be bottlenecked... I used to have i7-4790 + 1050ti + 16gb 1600mhz rig with HDD, and it was a nightmare to run the game with mods and assets let alone loading a save of a decent population xD now I have i7-12700 + 3070 + 32bg 3200mhz rig with NVME SSD, now I can have your videos open on chrome on my second monitor while playing my game on my main monitor - the game just loves better specs -_- gold digger cities skylines
