The Trailmaster MB200 is the best stock minibike on the market today for under $1000. But even though it might be the best on the market for its price tag, it could still use a few upgrades.
One of the much needed upgrades would be the rear shocks, we opted to go with GoPowersports.com ( Universal Adjustable Standard Shock 12"). This shock measures 12" eye to eye giving us an extra 2" of lift. This lift did cause the chain to rest on the frame, but after a rider sits down, there is plenty of clearance. These shocks dramatically increased the overall ride quality of the bike absorbing much more of the bumps along the trail.
The next upgrade would be the rear tire. The stock rear tire wore down fairly quick, while the front tire still looks like it has about 90% tread left. Because of this we opted to only change the rear. We decided to go with a more aggressive tire but there are very few options. After plenty of research we decided on the SunF (16X8-7 Tubeless A051 Power II).
These tires feature a Maxxis Bighorn like design at a very affordable price. We have yet to put these tires through the wringer but I assure you we will and then I will have more to say about their performance. But at a glance they appear to be a much stronger tire and the initial traction impressions are phenomenal.
We ditched the factory china chain for a genuine D.I.D 420 N23 Non O-Ring Chain.

Thanks, can't wait to take the governor out and see what happens.
I'm working on mine, it's a little on the powerful side and I'm fairly certain the stock driver just gave up yesterday but I was expecting this would happen. Cool bike.

For sure its burnt up, we are on our 3rd primary at the moment. I have had the GoPowersports Juggernaut a while but I am waiting to complete my engine overhaul before using it. I know that if you already removed your governor that the Jug would be a great choice for you.

No reason to hold off on the Juggernaut! I loaned mine to my son to try on his Trailmaster. So much smoother and predictable. I put old an old Comet back on my Tillotson until we get another Jugger in. No comparison!
Hey nice job! I have that motor but work done on it from Childish concepts 18.84 hp dyno. I have a couple questions for you if you dont mind. I have the motor in and drove it today but disconnected the wires for the battery. I am terrible with electrical how did you wire in the kill switch with the starter. Also are your headlights functional?
Somebody said you couldn’t have a juggernaut on a Tillotson 212 EE because it could blow up is that true did you have any problems with it I also just got the same engine

It worked, kinda.... The Tillotson in stock form didn't have enough rpm to let the Juggy fully work. It has just been sitting on our shelf since the test drive
Any problems with the chain from the longer shocks?

No problems, it has had quite a few hours put on it since the shock upgrade and everything is still working excellent 👍 I did have to add a few links to my chain to account for the longer travel. Very happy with this upgrade, I wish I would have done it the day I got my mb200.

Update: it works fine but tends to throw the chain in certain instances under heavy load such as 8” of snow. We are about to add on a chain the tensioner to prevent the chain from coming off
A muffler would increase the low and mid range of the bike. You should really get one because they are stupid loud without it. Running it on choke is a quick way to wash out the cylinder wall

I’m tig welding a stainless pipe for it with a screw on muffler at the moment. The last thing I’m worried about is washing out a cylinder wall on one of these cheap little engines, it will be getting bored and rebuilt before it’s even broken in. Thats why we like these mini bikes we ride em like there stolen. If you saw my brothers “custom” bend on that straight pipe you would see that it has more back pressure than the factory muffler lmao he crushed it so bad I laughed for an hour straight. The Tillotson factory muffler is almost equal to a straight pipe on flow, someone on KZread did a dyno video showing zero difference between factory tillotson muffler and straight pipe. Very surprising We will be running race fuel and spinning it up to 10k rpm in the next video to see how much power you can make after putting 1k into a tillotson212.

Yessir, I will be doing a towing test video for KZread before we do the turbo install. Then I will have a before&after comparison.

U would think. I have a massimo mb200. And it stock has 19×8-7 but I can fit 20×8-7 no problem. Just need to find a good tread to get
