It will run without a battery, you just won't have the electric start capability

Is that the stock torque converter? I have the exact same bike and motor but the jack shaft seems too short for the stock torque converter...

We are using a comet 30 series torque converter. We used a spacer to align everything up properly. I uploaded a video recently titled "Tillotson 212 CVT Install", check it out to see how we got out CVT to work with this setup.

Hey there, I'm pretty new to Mini Bikes and don't know much when it comes to Engine Sizes and what will fit into what so just wanted to ask you if this 212cc Engine will fit just fine into an X-Pro 196cc Supersize Mini Trail Bike ? I'd assume so since it's basically the same size as the MB200 ? Also wanted to know if I can upgrade from the 196cc stock engine to something even bigger and more powerful than the 212cc ? Or is the 212cc the biggest that will fit into this size frame ? What is the highest cc Engine I can replace the 196cc with ? Basically I just want to make mine as fast as possible with enough power to haul my 200 pound butt around without it hesitating at all.

Just swap in a Tillotson 212 with a 60T rear sprocket and you're set. Remember I still have yet to even pull the governor on mine so we haven't even unleashed the beast yet!

Yep and if the Tilly is not enough in stock format you can just build from there to suit your needs.

We still have the jf200 it ran good no problems other than the pull starter locking up every once in a while. I have it in the shop awaiting another project that I can use it for.

@@CampbellBrothersGarage awesome and thanks so much. Got the Tillotson on the bench and getting ready to do the swap. Any other gotchas you found on the swap? Totally get the key module move. Just no room. Too bad. Anything else on the Tilly need to be moved? Great video and appreciate the help!
