This has larger battery but the tini2 has a screen. So which do you prefer, a screen or bigger battery. Also the tini2 is slightly expensive right now.

I chose Tip SE finally because of USB-C. I'll pick Tip 2 if it got USB-C, no doubt! At least the built quality seems a bit better (one piece metal case) compare with Tip SE

i agree with this, type-c and nice metal construction mean these are great lights.

Thanks for this info, I like real feedback from users like this. I have to admit it a nice light. I'm torn between getting this or the tini2 as presents for family. I think this one will be much harder wearing and bigger battery.

I got the same power bank and is excelent thing i ever bought, i also got little bit older version of that power bank without screen but weights about 50g while bank with screen weights about 85g

Yes I agree with you i have not had any issued and love my power bank. although i get a few messages saying some people have had issues. mine is rock solid i still use it all the time.

Just picked on of these little guys up and I do like how it operates. I found that because it will travel a lot in my backpack I would reverse the clip as it then covers the buttons to prevent accidentally switching on. I agree though that a better lockout option would have been better. It's a really cool little light with a fair bit of muscle. Looking forward to when it gets dark to go test it out, though since I am currently in Singapore I don't think there's a square inch that isn't already lit! :) Thanks for a great review

I'm jealous you get to explore beautiful Singapore. And I agree this is a brilliant keychain style light. I love the output on the TUP but it's too bulky for keychain. This light is great. It feels good in the hand and the output is very good when compared to the original TIP v1.

Nice light but they had to know not everyone has a USB-C cable. Offer one package with one, the other, without the cable. All my devices are unfortunately micro-USB for the time being. Impressed the Tip SE has a power bank function. Thoroughly enjoyed your review my friend, keep up the great work!👍

Thanks and I agree. You should get a cable in the box unless you specifically ask for the 'save the rain forest edition' so if it's a gift that person isn't left disappointed.

Thank you im very happy the video is enjoyable for you :-) at the 23 min mark i was 9 feet from the wall but using a wide angle setup to capture both beams.

Excellent question in regards which is brighter the TUP is the brightest. Tup is 1000 lumen and the Tip SE is only 700 lumen. in regards which is best, the TUP is bulky and high cost. the Tip SE is smaller and cheaper with no digital LCD screen on it. I hope this helps if i was you i would either buy the Tip SE or you might wish to look at the new nitecore TINI 2 as it has the digital screen like the TUP but is VERY small. If there is anything i can help with further let me know :-)

Hi i hope you enjoy it. There is no lock mode, all you can do is alter the user mode from daily mode to demo mode then if it does turn on in then pocket it will only run for 30 seconds.

Tip 2 has a quick Mag base release but I still like the tip SE more as it's type-c charging. The tip2 is 720 lumens so about the same as the tip SE.

The prices on these has gone too high for some reason. i found it with 40% off at gearbest (and use the mobile app for another 10 dollars off) www.gearbest.com/led-keychains/pp_009472307528.html?wid=1433363&lkid=44179933 But when i change shipping to India it wont allow me to add the item. so i think they have raised all the prices maybe for Christmas time. i would wait until January and try top get one the maybe.
