We managed to get away to Gran Canaria for a week of training in the mountains - all good for getting the legs strong for Arc Of Attrition but it REALLY made me want to enter Transgrancanaria again...! Enjoy the views!

this is the first time I've written closed captions (subtitles) for a video to make it more accessible to those who are deaf or hard of hearing, and can also be translated for non-English speakers too so let me know if you use them!

You speak so clearley - i understood everything without it, but I can train my "wrotten English" with it. I also make a subtitles to my videos on KZread so I know how MUCH time it takes.. :/ So my tip is: Check KZread Studio statistics to see how many people using subtitles and make right decision ;)

Such serenity and tranquility, what a beautiful and stunning landscape. How jammy were you guys managing to sneak in a jolly before round two of restrictions kicked in ! The Arc is a beast! Beautiful and brutal in equal measure, I’ve only managed the baby 50 and that totally broke me ! I ran in the Salomon ultra pro and they were fantastic on the terrain and had no issues at all even in places where the bog fest is ridiculous! But my new bestest faves are the Saucony Peregrine 10, I absolutely bloody love them. Shoe size 5 but run in a 6, trust them totally in every aspect and are now my go to for all coast path and off roading. Lloyd at PB in Hayle recommended them, really worth a visit if you make it down West 😁 Shout our if you are down and need any help or reccy advice, such a great trail community here and if we don’t know we know some one who will 😁 look forward to seeing you at St Ives CP ... getting it done 😁 happy trails !

Recommend the Hoka EVO Speedgoats. I've moved from Nike trail shoes and the difference is massive. So much more grip, much lighter and good cushioning so feet don't feel beat up. Something to throw into the mix to try and see if they work for you.

Moved to the HOKA HOKA Speedgoat two months ago and Love them! I would recommend going a half size bigger (US sizes at least) and wider than you normally go with. Great grip on a wide variety of terrain and super comfortable without being too cushioned and feeling less of the ground with each strike- a nice balance of cushion and responsiveness for me

Your video quality is very crisp and clearer than I see from other vloggers? What’s your secret? Is it your Go Pro or other editing software?

thanks DD! this was the first time filming in 4k and 60fps (all my other vids are just 1080p and 24fps) so glad it's made a difference. editing software is just final cut pro which is quite common i'd say!

The 4K and 60 FPS is very noticeable and really sharpens up the picture. Well done

Honestly jealous of you and Ben sharing running, my girlfriend has zero interest 😅 maybe I'll show her your videos and drop subtle hints "this could be us"

When I clicked on this video I expected to hear some useful information about the trails and see beautiful trail views. Now I realise your content is not for me. This video is mostly a close-up of your head babbling random rubbish.
