Trail ride in Missouri with the Rafter M training stables crew. We had a two year old, 3 year old, 4 year old and a 7 year old Foxtrotter. The 2 and 4 year old is the first time out on the trails. The 3 year old has have 90 days of training and has been on multiple rides and 7 year old has had 60 days of training. All of the horses did well today. The ride was about 10 miles with some beautiful scenery. Missouri is the home of the Ozark Mountains and it is beautiful with overlooks, rocky terrain and very rural. This is part of the Mark Twain national forest. Foxtrotters are very sure footed and make a wonderful trail partner.
