I like how it goes up the food chain from small scavengers to big predators, I really hope more sneak peek vids are in this style for the future. Really love the cera sounds too, fits the garbage disposal, giant rat type feel, sounds like a garbage truck too if you listen close. Excited for more in the future! Edit: also hoping that full adult cera's can't be knocked down by carno charge, considering it'll probably be tankier. It would be dumb for practically all of the roster to be countered by charge. Edit 2: don't go down to the replies, the carno mains are mad lmao

I believe it's their charge up attack, although it looks a lot like some sort of threat display which is really cool. The sounds for all of it is incredible, too.

Cute that we all thought this meant any of this would be in game within any reasonable amount of time. But did you see the cables and light fixtures damn we got lucky there, glad these dinosaurs didn't get in the way of that. This Dinosaur survival game needs more cables and boxes.

Exciting! Cerato should be a great addition. Hopefully Magyarosaurus isn’t too far away since they were originally announced together as counterparts. 🦕

I think we won't see magy coming soon since it needs venom and poison for it to work and be viable because of its mechanics needing another mechanic to work. We might see it getting some works or spotlights when update 6 comes out.

@@bold9291 While I agree it won't be out with Cera due to the lack of toxins, we really can't say if it would or wouldn't be viable without it. This is the same issue that makes devs hesitant to share things that aren't set in stone. We assume this thing, that we have never played - or for that matter seen in actual action is going to do X or work like Y. Edit: Made the wording a little more concise.

The cera looks a bit bigger than it’s supposed to which I’m happy about. The cera irl wasn’t as big as everyone thinks it was but I’m glad it’s slightly larger. I can only imagine what the allo will look like in this new world, only time will tell

I think 7 meters is the estimate most people go with but 8 meters has been a reasonable estimate and I think there are ones that might be bigger but they’re just fragments because ceratosaurus is unfortunately rare.

Its the base model. The base model is absurdly huge. Its not properly scaled yet as its not in the QA build. Plus this trailer is made in the engine, given the quality of models compared to the actual game. This doesn’t confirm its final size.

they should take there time with the rex, It needs to be balanced properly this time, and I believe they will do just that, It was far too broken, yes it's an apex, but it needs counter play other than being a utah and leg riding it for 10 minutes hoping you dont get hitboxed.

@@AvengedPanzer well yeah, duh, evrima is different, but the only version of rex we've seen was from legacy, my point was they need to learn from there mistakes in legacy, the rex was just unfun, and unless they atleast shrink the stats of rex by atleast 1/3 of what it was in legacy, it wont work.

I ADORE the threat posture animation, I cant wait to see more.

it also did a weird head bob like it was regurgitating something... maybe they cough up some foul stuff and it sorta poisons their bite? like, rot damage or something since they're supposed to be able to eat the grossest stuff.

I think the devs are making it better since the cera was probably the weakest carni in the isle before since it’s bleed was terrible and it’s speed but cerato was one of my mains as well so I’m guess they’re making it more powerful

@@BlueBeeXD03 It wasn't the weakest carnivore in Legacy, but its slowness was painful. What made up for its slowness was its turn radius, I believe it was the second quickest turner, first being utah and third probably being spino. I think they are going to make it tanky in Evrima.

I absolutely adore the way the cerato looks on The Isle.

Oh my God showing cerato like that makes it look awsome, the design I personally like, the animation makes it feel like a aggressive animal which I think makes since for cerato, and the sounds sound terrifying to ward of others from a kill. Now this is what I wanna see thank you and I hope this shows that cerato is next

I feel you, I played the Isle with a pretty bad laptop but now that I bought a better one i can play it and enjoy it. I recommend you to save money or to sell your actual device and get a better one.

It's also not entirely your fault as well. Unless you don't have a bad device to run the isle but If you do then it's kinda a little bit both of your fault and the game as well. The evrima branch lacks some optimization and it's been a battle between the devs to optimize the game as much as they can but due to the things they add it's kinda hard to do so due to the engines limitations and such. I think they should honestly switch to a new engine like UE5 very early instead of late so they can not have limitations to everything. Would also improve performance in the game.

I can run legacy fine it's just evrima that is unplayable for me, and being below the poverty line doesn't help.

i have a beefy laptop and it stutters with evrima. it's playable, but not optimized well. I always said I would switch to evrima from legacy once they introduced Ceras, but I will probably continuously switch back to legacy until the game actually works. don't get me wrong. i am very happy to see evrima actually going somewhere, finally. but if I can hardly play it, on a beefy system no less, what's the point?
