It is really compact for transport and big for someone my height (5ft 10in). Moreover, as we see in your video the assembly and disassembly are quick! looks great, lovely patterns yet similar to the hokki v2 but seems a little bit more weather sealed which are a huge plus! Will get one for next shorebird season for sure!

Looks like a well designed and constructed hide. I reckon I could put that up with no problems at all. Unfortunately that's about the limit of its usefulness as if (and its a big IF) I could get into it I seriously doubt I could get back out.!!! Old age sucks...

Ive been using a homemade laydown wader hide for 5 years. From hours and hours of lying and waiting this all seems well thought out. However I would say that in my experience a adaptor section that allows you to join the V3 to (for example) the V6 would be really beneficial. Now that might be my age but I struggle after 3 or 4 hours lying down and like to sit and wait for my waders to come into my pool and then get into position lying down when i know they are around. Its difficult to observe everything around you at an angle as happens when your lying down. Take a seat put it in the V^6 and its much more comfirtable. I photograph notoriously skittish Green Sands in this way and have had no issues with them accepting the hide..... just a thought.

Great improvements, with a fabric that preserves more heat, it seems to me. And the window shutters that rise. The frame bag, missing in the V2. Too bad this shutter system is not removable to be transposable on the V2 ....

Like the new colour my Simon King hide has seen better days, and due an upgrade getting older now may have to go for the higher one could probably manage two hours in their or have I misjudged the height? Certainly appear to be the best hides on the market !👍

I find a few hours is not a problem in the Hokki, but if you want to be able to sit up and have more space the V6 with the additional room is a lot more spacious - new camo also released in the beginning of October

Nice video. Is brown part of the bottom of the blind waterproof?

How waterproof are these? I like to do overnight camps before I stalk my targets and have been using a rab bivvy which is very waterproof, but lacks venting so I get a build up of condensation and obviously then I get wet/damp. The design of this with the mesh venting looks perfect as airflow wouldn't be restricted, but will it stand upto 8 hours+ of rain and keep me and the kit dry?

It is waterproof so that shouldn't be a problem 👍
