Patrick had a very great life until his cancer and a life many would trade for their own, if they give it enough thought. This is an overdramazation of his life. How depressed was he? Patrick, a very likable guy, was given so much more talent, women, power than most of us. I don't mean to put down his brother for his looks, but Don Swayze was not giving his great looks by the time he was 20. Imagine that pain to have a great looking bro. In fact he looked bad in the movie I saw him in. His sister's manic depression - now that is pain. If Patrick lived to 67, not 57, I suppose his life would seem less tragic, not that I think his life was tragic. I can't say as I don't know his inner feelings or struggles. I am not as heartless as you think as I remember feeling really bad for him as he was dying. But now I have to listen to this narrator drone on, I feel bad for those who have to listen.

My mother, Lu Mininni-Totin, taught acting at Patsy's dance studio for a short while. She loved Vicky despite her mental illness (it wasn't just depression). I remember Vicky turning up at our house, a wide smile on her face, and visiting with Mom for a long while. I had been booted to my room, so I have no idea what they were chatting about. Heard some good laughter, though. Patrick's other sister, Bambi, was the sweetest person. Patrick was awesome. He was kind, intelligent, and knew how to laugh at life's nonsense. Sure, he was famous, but that didn't matter; actors are regular human beings when not at work. We moved from Simi Valley in '88, but my mother kept in touch with Patsy. It was painful when Vickie and Patrick passed away.

I don't understand discussing Patrick Swayze and the demons he battled without mentioning his very heavy smoking. There's no bigger risk factor for cancer including pancreatic. Heavy drinking likewise contributes to this terrible disease. Please if you smoke and drink, get whatever help is necessary to quit. Many just get mad and quit cold turkey. Almost any way to quit these cancer causing behaviors is a good way!

Please research Gerson cancer therapy Jessica. And Ty Bollinger’s book on natural cancer therapies is fantastic ( as are his videos ) and he includes the Gerson juicing approach in his book. Plus there are others who offer a ‘Gerson Plus’ protocol. The pharmaceutical industry hasn’t come up with answers, just failed treatments or a time delay for many, but they still make billions from these ‘treatments’. Gerson on the other hand has an excellent success rate of about 70% - and most of those are among terminal cancer sufferers who have been told there is no further treatment for them! Amazing! So please don’t give up! May God help you and bless you.

Is it just me, or is the voice over for this video not of a natural human? Sounds like an AI voice, sounding too perfect, without the natural and subtle flaws... it kind of irritates me. With that said, it's sad that we lose so many people to cancer. Swayze was definitely special.

I met him at Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Casino working in the Mansion Baccarat room. He had come into the room with his wife. He had on white tux and his wife a beautiful red ballroom gown. They both entered the Mansion. He went out of his way to say Hello to us all by saying Hello everybody how are you. I can honestly say he was the only actor to do this and make it a point to do so. I will always remember that moment.

Patrick Swayze is the one passed actor that I miss the most. It also surprised me that Point Break did not do better at The Box Office. It's one of my all-time favourite films and Swayze's role in it was very iconic. He was perfect for that role. Roadhouse is another big favourite of mine. I liked Youngblood back in the day too. Life is both beautiful and brutal. Another day on the carousel.

RIP beautiful Patrick. 😢 Would like to comment that whenever I hear about high energy people who suffer with depression and drink / self medicate, and have first degree relatives with bipolar, as a nurse who has worked in psych and have relatives who suffer with this disease, I am inclined to view them as sufferers. Treatment with actual anti depressants often aggravates this condition and they really need mood stabilisers. Alcohol is the worst path to take with any mood disorder. Very sad....

I had the same doctors Patrick Swayze had it Stanford Oncology and I’m alive. I had two separate strains of pancreatic cancer cells and I changed my diet. I literally threw so much food away in the garbage it was so toxic so now I’m alive I’m 10+ years cancer free I’ve made history at Stanford and I am writing a book of how to survive and keep your internal organs, your pancreas and your liver and your stomach your test for the rest of your life. The human body is a beautiful machine and you take good care of it better than you do your car your diamond rings or your houses I can guarantee you you’ll live a long time The best lesson I learned from being a person that reads labels. If you cannot pronounce the words on the labels and you don’t understand what’s in that can good or box good please stop putting it in your body. You are slowly poisoning your body.

Played in a movie called, Ghost, where he was exposed to a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. Sought healing and deliverance in Buddhism and other sources that fall short. Maybe, because he was a leader, he couldn't find a way to follow Jesus, who offers healing here and now and eternal life hereafter. I pray that everyone who reads this finds a way to place their hand in the hand of the Man from Galilee. 🙌❤️‍🔥🙌🕊️
