I used to visit Karachi from Quetta in the late 80's and early 90's with my grandfather and what a beautiful city it was. Vibrant, diverse, alive and calm. RIP .... now it is beyond repair.

I am from India ..I must congratulate Karachi on atleast having wide roads and the traffic is much less than here ... with a little bit of effort from the government the situation can be improved ... it’s not a unsolvable problem yet .. a very funny video though ... reminded me of being stuck in Mumbai traffic and screaming at everyone else on the road... would love more such videos

Karachi was most developed by British; and it was planned quite well. It became the capital city in 1947 - in which it was further planned quite well. Compared to vastly historical cities like Lahore and Peshawar; which are not as planned as there streets and roads were made way before Karachi’s!

Moved to New Zealand few years ago from Karachi and after watching this video, I can only thank God for not letting me live in this country anymore. God, what a total chaos it was! 😱 I always thought of showing my foreign friends the roads of Karachi but honestly I feel so embarrassed now. No road codes at all, what a disappointment really. Honestly, there were more codes in Auckland zoo. The main purpose of my comment is just as for a correction or information with all due respect .... there is a clip of boat basin in this video in which you entered the side road and drove in the same direction of the main road, but as per my information, side roads are used to have U-Turn to go to the opposite direction of the main road. Instead of Red Apple turn you must have taken the cut infront of Standard Charterd Bank and drive in opposite direction of the main road of your respective side. I am really surprised to see that someone will come up with this. You are amazing. People in pakistan don't even know traffic rules and basic road ethics. Bhai kabhi raaat main drive karo har banda high beam pe gari chala raha hota hai.

I have recently learned driving so every time he makes a traffic video , I always pray I am not in one of them 😂😂 and like he said , the hardest part of driving for me right now is parking !! I watched videos to help me out and it's always " park between the lines" , but there are no effing lines anywhere in Karachi. I just copy the cars around me but it still gives me anxiety

I thought "Defence" was some good area since all of the celebrities live there but there are hanging electricity wires, unpaved footpaths, no service roads, not something what I expected. In Islamabad, an average, low cost housing society has good infrastructure, they have underground electricity, paved footpaths, green belts, to and fro transport and everything.

Hi Junaid Bhai, your efforts are remarkable but i would suggest that we have to make a plan on it to overcome these issue one by one, in this regard we can select the different areas and discussion for these improvements with relevant area committees and responsible personnel to overcome these type of issues to make their area a better place. I think if we create an example for society, then fission reaction or chain reaction could be started.

I see that the roads are wide enough and if they provide footpath, traffic signals and street lights then it can become lot better.

Karachi is mixup of temple run and Mad Max Fury run...😂 Awesome observation man.especially that parking demarcation. Love from india. As a civil Engineer I must tell you these streets are extremely unsafe. No concept of sight distance, lane change, parking facility. In the end solution for all Transport Engineer is 3 Es: Enforce (make people follow road rules strictly) Educate ( make people aware of road marking and basic laws coz you can't expect unaware illiterate to follow them) Engineer (the govt system need to conduct proper road safety audits and rectify infrastructure)
