Traditions of the Bar
Traditions of the Bar
Legal practitioners all across the Commonwealth have preserved the Traditions of the Bar, and the special culture of their respective legal professions. Some of them are over 500 years old.
And lawyers insist on keeping them. Why is that? This video, called 'Traditions of the Bar', explains why.

I'm 17 and I've wanted to be a lawyer my whole life, no-one in my family has been a lawyer and Ive always wished I had a father like figure to tell me abt law and the things you don't see on those shows. Thanks you for being that person 🤝🏾❤️

Thank you Mikesh. I have had the privilege to work with-and against - many men and women in the Malaysian Bar, and the Attorney General’s Chambers. I must say that I have found most of them to be honourable, law-abiding and completely fearless in the pursuit of justice. I hope you will join us one day, and may be, become a Federal Court Judge, and make your country, and your parents, very proud indeed. Work hard; and be rigorously disciplined. Keep your eyes on the objective: all the time. Do not let obstacles sway your mind in the least.
After so many years in practice, only now I know the real meaning of the bench and bar.. Thank you very much GK

If you remember a person with the name "Karpal Singh Ram" in the Malaysian politics, all his associates knew the Law and Rights so well, the reason why nobody was dare or capable of touching him without his permission! Sadly his tenure was over once he passed away in 2014.
You are so eloquent profound in your field of legal practices. Have been very meaningful and this sounds very interesting about the various details you presented in your talk . Keep doing Mr GK . People really need such information . Thank you sir

Hi, Mr Ganesan. Thanks for the video :) Your table is always well decorated, and one ornament could be seen in almost all of your videos- an aesthetically pleasing Arabic/jawi calligraphy. Could you share what it means? I was also curious as to the figurines and books that you have. Would definitely be looking forward if you'd lead us on a bookshelf tour!
@GKganesan
4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words. A Bookshelf Tour? That is a fascinating idea! The three Wise Old Men are a Chinese set I bought (of all places) in England in 1988. I have had them ever since. There is also a Chinese Lion on the left. The figurine made of brass is a person playing a flute and it is (again, of all places) of Balinese extraction. As for the writing on the plate, I am a Baha’i, and the words are a reference to Divinity.

Where can I get the BOOK OF CONSTITUTION OF STATES MALAYSIA
@GKganesan

The internet search will yield the Constitution of Malaysia. As for individual states, they each have separate state constitutions. This you can get from any law book shops. I get mine from Marsden Law Book company.
