    I have never had India Food. I am new subscriber because these dishes are so amazing and have to be delicious! Cheers to these wonderful amazing Chefs! You would think that with a population of over 100,000 people where I live, that there would be a wonderful Indian Restaurant open here but we do not! I am seeing many more people from India these days locating here! We have many types of restaurants of culture such as Mexican, Chinese, Italian, and many American Type restaurants, but India 🇮🇳 food is not here yet 😢 Hopefully soon because we are a city growing very rapidly we will soon see other Cultures of Cooking here, especially Indian Foods and German Foods! Thank You for the wonderful channel! You and your Staff are very talented, amazing, and very precise in everything you do, and work very well together ❤ God Bless.. USA-Kentucky 😋👌🙏

    In this part of the video I noticed one thing that is this kitchen is very small but you would be surprised at the amount of food that can be produced because when you look at the amount of food produced there is no comparison between the kitchen and the dining room but most kitchens are very small to begin with and I have worked in very small kitchens like in many different Delis in the NYC area and some of them are very expensive like BOARS HEAD brand and cold cuts are not really sold in HAWAII but my father would buy things like salami Coppa and bologna nothing else as it makes good snacks with crackers and cheese but to get good crackers like assorted CARRS brand is not easy to find and you have to go to a gourmet store as I used them in a hotel or 2 good for cheese and crackers or for canapés but I have worked in these places and they are high end places and not cheap

  • @richardyoung871
    @richardyoung8714 ай бұрын

    One more thing I noticed is that there is no exhaust hood as many places that produce food for retail sale have the kitchen setup standard equipment like an ABC extinguisher in case of a fire not funny at all but I have learned how to put out a fire and what type of fire is it like a petro fire where they use foam many people in my family were fireman and the fire department is across the street just like EMS and the police department always on call as I know the difference between them but it's for our protection friends family the general public just like the WORLD TRADE CENTER the PENTAGON and the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania

  • @richardyoung871

    One thing I notice is that in the middle east they always pour hot liquids very high as in MOROCCO when they make mint tea and put a lot of sugar it's like eating a candy bar or something but I don't like adding to much sugar in drinking tea because Asian people don't add sugar just tea leaves and hot water and I don't like green tea rather I like plain black tea and loose tea ad in when you go to a Chinese restaurant they only put a pinch into the kettle that's enough as they don't charge for it because it's the natural essence of the drink like most Asians drink and I don't like flavored tea is just fine for me and because my grandfather was a surgeon in London they drink it with sugar or honey and hot milk or even with cream half and half or Heavy cream which I don't like and the CHINESE people call it Cha or buddy cha same thing and drinking it in a small Chinese cup and when we went to a Chinese restaurant that's the 1st thing that comes to your table besides the menu.but my parents knew what to order for the family and my father took us to the best Chinese restaurants in HONOLULU HAWAII like the HILTON HAWAIIAN VILLAGE at the Rainbow Ball room or. To the Kahala Hilton room in Kahala resort hotel and very expensive and when the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES comes he stays there as security is very tight and not in WAIKIKI like tourists do and all government officials are put on call like there agencies like HPD as my uncle was chief of detectives in the main prescient in downtown Honolulu Hawaii where I took my driver's test to get my driver's license when I was in high school and they are very strict just like in NEW York State but I took the test in QUEENS and it was very easy because I had State of HAWAII California Georgia and the International license when I was stationed in GERMANY

    In this part of the video I remember years ago when I worked in a restaurant called the Spring street Cafe and I told him that because I am here I will check in the order since I played the order and the delivery guy said to me what are you doing and I told him just my job so I rejected the whole order and I went to the office and called the company and I talked to the owner and he said that this company had been with us for many years and next week he told me that he fired him because order restaurants got complaints about him and that he would not give him a referral because he didn't want word to get around because CHEFS do talk among themselves but it's all hush hush type of thing make no waves be very quiet

    In this part of the video where is this place is my question and my mother would make curry but very mild but full of flavor and I made curry myself but there are 3 different types of curry powder 1 from Jamaica 2 from Ireland and 3 from India called Madres with Marsala or gram Salam very strong but well worth it but my ma uses light cream unsalted butter and coconut cream as my brothers would get the coconuts husk them break them open drink the liquid and my mother would grate them put them in water and boil them as many HAWAIIAN people use them for cooking and baking them for desserts good eats very tasty if done correctly HAWAIIAN food is not spicy but mild in flavor but these HAWAIIAN restaurants don't know what they are doing as I look at there menus first as was born and raised in HONOLULU HAWAII and I worked with his family doing LUAUS for the tourists just to learn and I didn't get paid and I didn't care and I did that in my high school years for 3 years before I went into the ARMY for 5 years got to see the world

    In this part of the video I was living in QUEENS at 73rd Street near ROOSEVELT Street and the landlord were Indian from India and when the mother cooked you could smell the spices and I don't really care for Indian food because it's very spicy and hot as I can't take the heat and in Manhattan they have restaurants called INDIAN ROW and it's not really expensive and at 74th street you can see the men's clothes and the women walking in there saris very colorful as they like to mingle around and they love there tea like all Asians do liquid of choice and it beats coffee like I don't like STARBUCKS to expensive not worth it way overpriced as my children won't go either

  • @richardyoung871
    @richardyoung8714 ай бұрын

    As I stated before Indian women buy there own spices and crush them in a mortar and cook with them ad AMERICANS won't do that but follow simple to complex dishes and they are not very expensive ad they are like Chinese food where the majority of the time spent is cutting up thing's and cooking them only takes a couple of minutes and you don't need a WOK just hot water a good Teflon pan and vegetable or peanut oil and whatever sauce cook plate and serve as I have taught my children stir fry is very easy as many ASIAN cultures do and usually in the PACIFIC OCEAN area but some Chinese restaurants can get very expensive so watch out as I like all you can eat buffets and I am very picky and I usually look at the menu 1st

    This is the first episode in the "Moodi Foodi Berlin" series I do not appreciate or like. And I do not feel the need to go there. I see cooks dedicated to their jobs preparing appealing and for sure delicious food. My problem is that I have no idea what they are making with which ingredients. Nor can I imagine the smell or taste. Not even 1 single ingredient is mentioned in the full episode! When the plates are presented (look perfect and appealing) only the name of the dish is mentioned. I do not need the full recipes (chef's secrets) but now I am just looking at cooks cooking mystery dishes, using unmentioned meats, fish, herbs, spices and sauces of interesting color. A missed change to promote Indian Food.

    Essen in Aluminiumtöpfen zubereiten ist grenzwertig. Mit Fett und dem Gekratze landen erhebliche Mengen Aluminium im Essen. Klar sind solche Töpfe billig, aber leider extrem bedenklich....

    Es ist zwar nicht uninteressant in fremde Töpfe zu schauen, aber es ist für mich einfach kein Streetfood... Streetfood bedeutet für mich kleine, mobile Küche. Am liebsten aus einem Stand mit wenig Auswahl und viel Herz und nicht in einem Lokal mit Tisch, Stuhl und komplett eingedeckt... Streetfood ist oder sollte zumindest ein Stand an einer Straßenecke oder Wochenmarkt sein. Ein Imbiss, der wenn ich Später am Abend dort erneut vorbei komme, nicht mehr da ist und wenn ich es nicht zuvor gesehen hätte und besser wüsste, ich keine Ahnung habe das er heute Mittag hier war! Ganz ehrlich: Ich habe eure Videos mit den Fahrradanhängern gefeiert! Die Weihnachtsmärkte waren ein Erlebnis... Eigentlich alles, was keine "richtige Küche" hat, ist für mich echtes Streetfood! Es erinnert mich an Playa del Carmen, Yucatan oder die kleinen Vororte von Bangkok oder auch die "Fressmeilen" auf China's Straßen, wo man eigentlich den Gehweg nicht mehr nutzen kann weil eine Bude neben der nächsten steht. Ein Video wie dieses erinnert mich dann eher an die Touristenfallen in den Reise-Hotspots, wo ein schales, abgestandenes Getränk nicht unter 17 Dollar (Metapher) zu bekommen ist...

    Hi Feuer-Teufel, danke dir für deinen ausführlichen Kommentar. Deine Kritik können wir gut nachvollziehen. Ja, es ist natürlich kein Street Food im klassischen Sinne von der Location. Trotzdem ist es alles Street Food aus dem Süden Indiens bzw. auch aus dem nördlichen Indian oder Sri Lanka, was in dem Restaurant zubereitet wird. Klar, es ist ein Restaurant und kein Imbisswagen o.ä. Aber wir wollen auch ab und zu ein paar Top-Locations hier präsentieren, die authentische Küche bieten. Im übrigen: Mr. Chai Wala ist eben keine Touri-Falle, sondern tatsächlich was ganz besonderes. Aber keine Sorge, die Imbisse und richtigen Street Food Sachen kommen auch schon sehr bald wieder. Versprochen! ✨
