It's about working with your hands to earn an honest living. So they do not become lazy and dependent on donations. Very few isolate themselves from society to become completely devoted to prayer..it is not a lifestyle that the majority can sustain.

Orthodox Christians are still very noticeable when comes to women head covering, and easily mistaken for Islamic burka/chador for those taking monastic orders

karan karan Jesus Christ ( peace be upon him) didn't ask people to worship him and he's not the son of God in the sense that Christians understand, son of God means pious or righteous that's why there's many sons and daughters of God in the Bible, Christians follow the church and Paul they don't follow the teachings of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) he is a mighty prophet and messenger of God, God sent him with the same message he sent all of his prophets and messengers with that is to worship the creator of all (Allah) ALONE and to stay away from false gods and satan's path , and to do good deeds.

Praise God yes indeed Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) way to God and he spoke the truth inspired by God and those who followed his teachings will have eternal life in heaven but for those who rejected him and those who changed his message and worshiped him instead of God ( the father as you call him) they will regret doing so in the day of judgement; as Jesus said in the Bible: [ ... many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, didn't we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers !] Matthew 7:21-23) . And according to your logic why don't you worship Melchizedek as well ? who is according to the Bible is : [... without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginnings of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, he remains a priest perpetually.] Hebrews: (7:1-3). Show me even a single verse in which Jesus Christ saying he's God or saying to people worship me ( you won't find any), my advice to you is find the truth before you meet God, I'm coming from a good heart, I want you to save your self from hell fire, that's all what I want from commenting on this video, you've been mislead by those who changed the true message of Jesus Christ ( peace be upon him ) .

But it's not a hijab? Nuns cover their hair (in some denominations they don't) hijab is an Arabic word and refers to a different religion where all women of that religion are made to wear it regardless of their roles in life. Christian women are not required to cover their hair. Nuns choose to follow this restricted style to give up materialistic desires.
