Great video!!! I noticed that he put the feather on 'backwards' compared to all the other flu flu tutorials, but that will make it resist the air and slow it down even better. Awesome!!

I saw someone use a mouse pad for the rolling surface when applying a wrap, seems like a good way to keep from getting air bubbles

You could use a little super glue accelerator for the first little bead to get it set. the accelerator will dry the glue INSTANTLY.

I noticed that the feather faced in the opposite direction than on a regularly fletched arrow. Is this so the feather catches more air or was it a mistake? tnx

Just thought of something that you may want someone to cover and that is what Joel Turner refers to as the speed limit of the shot. Basically how fast you can execute the shot and be in control.

+James Hagerman I failed his closed loop speed drill test over and over, he said I set a record for the most fails! He just laughed at me. Good point, I will have to talk to him about more first.

Question: can you use these flu flu fletchings with a... Wisket Biscuit?

I would doubt it, the feathers would get caught up in it and screw up your flight.

Even easier way is to use fletching tape! Also when i make my spiral flu flu's i peel the Quill off then put it in a bitz clamp put on the fletch tape, take the feather from the clamp wrap it on the arrow. No glue needed

Is there a reason you want synthetic feathers? Three Rivers or Lancaster Archery might carry them. As for where to get a bow cheap, what do you call cheap? A Samick Sage you can buy new of $130 to 170. You can buy one off Ebay for less if you want.

For three hundred dollars you can get a nice bow. The Samick Sage is about 150 and is a good starter bow.
