Yes please do a separate video on design marks. I’m not sure if the name of my business will be able to be a character mark but I would like to at least get my logo with the name in it as a design mark. Please please please do another video! Haha about the electricity, we have a camp by a spring. A converted school bus is dining room kitchen. If you touch the outside of the bus when the ower is on it shockes the hf out of ypu. hahah. Never heard of it in the city though. Wow.

I just found your page and it is really helpful. I have a question. I have my business brand name for my boutique but also have DBA names for stylist services also linked to my main brand. Would those names also be included in my application since they are also registered on my business license as DBA or would I need 3 separate trademark applications??

Very helpful! You say that punctuation CAN matter, so I want to ask about phrases like "I am not" vs. "I'm not" vs. "I ain't". As an example, there is a live standard character trademark for "I'm not a boy", so my question is if it's still OK to use "I am not a boy". Also, I do a TESS search for "I am not", the results include phrases with all these variations ("I am not", "I'm not" and even "I ain't"). Are these just search results, or does registering a trademark for one of these include the others as well?

Can you help folks that have a trademark application that's currently being reviewed by USPTO for a standard character mark? They haven't denied me but sent a letter asking for more information about my business etc because I use common words in the trademark I'm applying for. There are no other similar businesses to mine with trademarks in the classes I'm applying for that I know of but I’ve found similar common word trademarks that were approved in spite of that. I have 6 months to send them a response.
