I'm pretty sure anybody that truck or tractor pulls knows how to drive there I don't know what kind of comment that is but I've never seen anybody truck or tractor pulling my life it doesn't know what they're doing

They don't run 1/4s but when they are pulling the wheel speed is about 100mph

Well now that's an interesting question. The wheel speed is roughly 90mph on a run they say. I have not seen proof on that either way. I have been trying to get a couple of these guys make a 60ft pass at one of the drag tracks that host tractor pulls. Nobody has stepped up yet. Flat out, they would most likely be too hard to control & very bouncy.

Something about a whole bunch of old people who probably can't move real quick standing on the side of a narrow street where a several ton unpredictable machine is deliberately breaking traction screams Darwin's name.

Tractor pulls take place on dirt so there Can't be any burnouts .

@@brieannateylar5810 I'm speaking, tongue in cheek, hypothetical here, but tires do burn out on dirt, it happens with the WOO sprint cars, when the track takes on rubber, they smoke the tires all the way around the corner, just sayin'.

@@tomchrisfield7348 they barely have enough time scrape the the track level between each pull . Adding a burnout is killing more time . Plus most tractor pulling events aren't done on dedicated tracks which means that there is not enough safety built into the temporary make shift barrier walls used . Adding a burnout would also add a extra opportunity for a out of control tractor to breech those barriers and hit the spectators .

Since these tractors have diesels that have been converted to alcohol, I was wondering if I can do the same kind of spark-ignited cylinder head conversion on my 5.9L Cummins and have it run on pump gas. Is it possible or nah?

@@BoostedDeere Then how is the diesel in this tractor running on alcohol? Alcohol requires spark-ignition. And something tells me they converted it to a spark-ignited engine.

You can run alcohol without spark plugs

@@BoostedDeere Nah....Unless you're using some kind of military approved glow plugs to heat up the combustion chamber, you can NOT run an alcohol, hydrogen, gasoline or whatever other fuel-converted-engine without some form of spark.

@@RBLUS_TY the methanol/water injection goes on the manifold in a spray form. Trust me I help my friend who has a cummins diesel pulling truck in four wheel drive division

That was a stupid stunt, one thing not go as it should and tractor gets loose and takes out 4 or 5 people goes through a house. People do not think anymore.
