How was the maximum possible acceleration and weight on rear tire percentage calculated?

Two questions to start, Andy: 1) how do you get the track location markers inserted into the datalog? 2) How are you logging all of the data fields? Maybe Jean's I/O expander, coming in via CAN?

Once you have acceleration converted to distance, you then use a formula to display location unless you just passed on of the critical distances. When I set any car up, the owner gets to keep a copy of all of the formulas to get this to work. The cars and sensors used in the video were set up before I got to the cars. I think they were all using an inexpensive Amazon 3 axis accelerometer. Adafruit ADXL335-5V Ready Triple-axis Accelerometer (+-3g Analog Out)

@@AndyWhittle_HowEFIworks Thanks! Do you find the distance locators and associated time measurements from that method to be accurate to the timesheets?

That is what the calibrations in yellow do. I get within about a 1/10 of a sec. on clean runs on all three track timers.

@@AndyWhittle_HowEFIworks How do you get that area under the curve highlighting in megalogviewer? Or was that post processing in an image editor?

Is there anyway to get all the calculations you use. Would be willing to pay for them
