    My guess would be that you operate a Bobcat, and that the Tank uses a Bobcat based transmission. Well done--great job.

    That has to be the greatest starting platform for the ultimate urban assault vehicle if I ever saw one. Yjat looks amazing also fast and it looked like it responded well to command. Excellent job if the cost didn't kill ya lol

    If you can only get rid of that engine and make it 100% electric then you’d really be onto something. It’s just way too loud. And then you’re breathing all the exhaust. Other than that it’s really cool. Oh yeah one other thing , you should try to make it float. 30 kWh of lithium batteries should do it pretty good.

    Very good looking machine, what would you estimate just the tracks on that cost if a person just manufactured the tracks, I have a couple of older motorcycle engines I got 1100 CC and then a 650cc I would love to put them in something like this

    The mav can be built from raw material and running in two weeks ,this includes wheels and tracks . The cost of the hydraulic system was just over $3000.00 ,engine another $2000.00 + . Total build around $7000.00 . Thanks for the comment.

    @@mimimitchell1989 I have a Exmark zero turn with stout hydraulic drives not the aluminum ones. With plastic fan. I got it for this purpose. By the wsy your build is awesome. The hydraulic motors are stout. Could attach them at the back. But it's the track that gets difficult to figure out.

    How did you make the road wheels?

  • @mimimitchell1989

    @mimimitchell1989

    2 жыл бұрын

    I use 13 inch HDPE pipe heated and pressed onto a 10 inch rim that I roll from 3/16 sheet , cut 5x10 inches which is welded to a 1/4 inch thick disc that I cut on my homemade cnc plasma table which is slipped over a 2 inch piece of DOM pipe then welded. The DOM pipe is milled out for two bearings to support the wheel assembly on a 1 inch OD axle .I will be making a video on the construction of the wheels soon. Hope this helps and thanks for dropping a comment .

    @@mimimitchell1989 Wow! I've really wanted to make a small tank by adapting a used Argo or such type all wheel drive 6x6 for the motor and control system. I've seen several types of track systems. But the killer is the road wheels. Thanks.
