Their newer 350's look awesome. New cabin colors and seats along with doors and partitions in between the middle row seats. Traveling with a companion is like being in a private room.

This is actually an "older" configuration of the A350-900. Air France is flying a new config with 292 seats (56 in business class) that is even nicer than this. It is a fully enclosed suite (the door closes all the way), has a tablet for all the controls and has USB-C. Sadly, there is no plans to upgrade this configuration to the newest one.

Hi, sorry for the cartoon avatar- why do you recommend even numbered seats? The odd seats face out towards the window better. I’m not looking to film... Just look out once in awhile. Thank you!!

The food and wine selections, unsurprisingly, looked to be top-notch. I would expect nothing less from the French, as they take great pride in it. Aircraft interior looks modern and clean. However, it is disappointing to see the seat design and configuration they chose. Very narrow seats, even narrower foot wells. I understand how important it is to load the planes full, but a top-tier business class these days should have a 1-2-1 configuration with overall wider pods and seats. Air France may even have regretted the decisions that were made regarding the cabin design, but once orders are placed, they are stuck with them for many years. Retrofits are expensive and only occur many years down the road in response to poor reviews and competitive pressure. Cathay is right now retrofitting their 777ERs with the new Aria Business Suites because they have fallen behind.

Je naime pas du tout la nouvelle classe affaire Air France où les sièges sont devenus très étroits. Vous ne pouvez pas facilement vous tourner quand vous êtes allongés et vous avez l'impression de ne plus pouvoir bouger vos pieds quand vous essayez de dormir. La compagnie a voulu optimiser la place dans l'avion et a considérablement réduit le confort du couchage. Je regrette leur ancien siège business qu'on appelait "l'œuf" et où vous étiez vraiment confortablement installés.
