Very informative, thank you so much!
The lick sleeve is an amazing improvement over the cone collar. Absolutely worth it!
Awww Teri! So happy to see Karma doing well! You are giving her excellent care! Bless her heart! She does not understand why you aren’t throwing the Kong for her.

Is both legs at the same time recommended? Will he have a harder time recovering or about the same? The vet in Mexico wants to do both knees TPLO at the same time.
How can you do the 2 week follow up virtually when stitches need to be removed?
Is it normal to see redness on leg on 3rd day after surgery? Could it be bruising?? I see no oozing

Vita and I are watching from Michigan, USA.
Is it common to see ups and downs during recovery? My 4 yr old Husky was walking the first day after and putting weight on the surgery leg for the first 8 days. (Of course he's confined, lots of meds, mostly sleeping, etc) Day 9 yesterday and day 10 today he's limping and even holding the leg up sometimes. 😕 I know it's a long road but I was just curious if anyone else saw improvement then worsening and then improvement?

I hope that your dog just had a temporary setback and went on to make a full recovery.

I know your question is 8 months old right now. But everything you said, and the replies, help hundreds of people. People like me that are looking for information 4 days before the surgery date. I hope your Husky is doing good.
