Here is a screamingly loud TP180 valveless pulse jet engine on a parallel beam thrust measuring rig. The thrust can be computed by determining the angle of deflection. Also check out the echo at the end!

The sound you hear is not video encoding problems, the engine is simply so loud that it bends space and time.
