I like the price list so far. I will see how best I can do some of this work locally. I wonder if the SPM shaft can be pressed out of the rotor in the same way.

I love how the 32 kW rewind has mandatory bearing replacements. One less thing to worry about under heavy acceleration.

Hey mate, I have a couple of these motors (TP-120s) from Lightning Rods. The XLR and Big Block. I think they are similar to the TP128s, if I am not wrong... Could you share somewhere a Motor-cad diagram for re-winding the motor for higher efficiency? And also - do you think that efficiency would get to 95%, if I used SILVER/nickel coil? Thanks in advance!

I'm not selling any more until I account for everything and have at least 3 for my own purposes. I'm not on ES. I need to change that email address to the new one I jsut set up for this channel.

First I have heard of this group buy and this motor. Do you have a website or a forum where this originated? Id like to keep an eye out for similar deals.

@@Kathod looks a lot like the lightningrodev motors. Those are more expensive than these. I feel like there are tons of the same motor out there but each vendor demands certain quality control things and specifies shaft dia and bearings. I like the shaft dia of these better than the lightningrods and lmx version.

I did a couple of videos about this previously. It's all over my forum in Facebook EV Components Review. I'll be doing one for a variety of QS motors after a while, but that's probably 6 months off. I need to ship what I have now and see what I have after that. It's possible that I'll have a few spares.

@@BuildItTuneItEV LOL...I posted videos about the group buy, talked about it in several videos, posted about it in my FB forum. Then I told everyone that I would be closing down the group buy on a specific date. People either got their money to me on time or they didn't. It's ironic how many people, now that I have the motors that people paid for, want one now. I might do another group buy for them in a few months, but for now, I've got the ones here that people already paid for and a LOT of work on them to do! I doubt I have spares, but if I do, I'll post a video about them and let them go to whoever pays me first.

Can you tell me why that motor tops out at 3000kw for me and I get hall sensor codes with my kelly KLSN?

Kelly is some wonky business. I've had them not work well with certian motors in the past. If there is any motor tuning in your controller, I'd take a look at that. It's also possible your halls very noisy.

@@de-bodgery haha for sure I mean with my older motor is they run 9KW all day but all new ones stopped I replaced hall sensors and had the same result maybe I'll try some different hall sensors.

I think you must have the HLD that LR used to sell. I had one of those too. 9kw was about what I'd get from them.

Hey dude, so my old "mophron" motor then I used to buy a few years ago runs at a peak of 9000 Watts on 72 volt and 6000 watts on 48 volt, I noticed all the new 1020 motors now from e&c1020 to vevor to kunray All peak at around 6,000 for 72 volt and 4,000 for 48 volt now. I am pretty sure all the motors come from kunray and have been dealing with them who says there has been no change in the motors cannot run at that. I can see a few slight differences in the motor One being the coils look a little looser now than my old ones. Would that have something to do with it or what are your thoughts?? You seen the most intelligent with motors that I have come across

Peak isn't all that useful. Yeah great, 2 or 3 seconds you can do X amps into the motor before it over heats. Looser windings are less densely packed together. That wasted space could have been used for more strands in parallel and therefore more amperage in the motor. Loose end turns has very little to do with this. That's just lack of attention to details and making sure all the stands are pulled down tight. *** Kunray, Vevor, BOMA, Mophorn...maybe they are seperate companies? I'm highly skeptical they are! It is not uncommon that China names the exact same company several things complete with their own web sites, corporate papers, etc and yet it's all the same factory and all the same production lines. I don't know how well that came across in my EC4P video, but that's what I meant by "It's all just BOMA junk". So yeah, Kunray, whoever...same thing! LOL.

@@de-bodgery I guess I'm not familiar with Boma then.. kunray is who I deal with and they seem like they do make all the my1020 motors on the market they all put my company's name on the label and send it whatever one I want is what they say. And they do all have the same markings on the inside so I assume they are.. Awesome thank you for your information.. so it's weird cuz the older motor I'm referring to Will do about 5 to 10 mph faster consistently then the newer motors with the same tune and controller and battery setup. We have multiple of the old motors and multiple new motors including The ones I mentioned all running slower. Which I thought was because I see higher Watts when I'm bench testing and watching the live data maybe I don't understand that as well either then.. But it's the 1800 watt motor which is the 2KW motor But I've had for over 4 years running at 9000 w taking 120 amps (with fan and temp gauge) no issues still knock on wood.. But no new ones are matching that, so I've been trying to get to the bottom of it kunray says nothing has changed I can see slight changes But don't fully understand how motors work to know if it would make a change or not I guess. So I appreciate your time and thoughts on it I'm just trying to get a better motor for the community that's not overpriced I'm razor crewcoleon TikTok Thanks dude!

@@Razorcrew_Cole It sounds like they changed the motor Kv. Same wattage in and a lower Kv will mean less top speed. All it takes is one more turn per stator tooth to lower the Kv. I don't use tiktok. It's the spy piece for the Chinese government!!! If you were wondering why it is that some states have banned it in the USA...that's why. US federal government, law enforcement agencies, state agencies in many places have removed Tik Tok from everything. This may not have been made clear, but the app on your phone or where ever it is that you use Tik Tok all gets fed back to the Chinese communist party government to spy on you!

LOL...that's not possible! 32kw accounts for full iron saturation among other things. You could "pay me for it", but MotorCAD says 32kw is the best you can get.
