Thank You I have put what you said in written format put in neutral switch off everything put the short circuit from link 4 to link 13 wait 10 seconds turn on switch (everything should flash) pump bake pedal 7 times and hold put gear into E than take to manual switch to -M x4 times Back to E back to N let go of Brake pedal and than press back down again pump the brake 3 times and hold turn off switch wait 10 seconds disconnect the wire turn on switch turn off switch wait 10 seconds use brake pedal or use N wait for neutral to stop flashing turn on switch turn ignition and wait until N stops Flashing now ready to go

If you don't have an ODB2 connector then simply run a short wire between the 4th and the 13th terminal of the ODB2 connector (jumper it). Do this before you turn on the ignition and wait 10 seconds at least before you turn it on. The Toyota will go into learning mode as on this vid. This works on a Toyota Mk1 MMT. Cured all my jerky gear changes. Be sure to follow all of the steps properly and when he removes the ODB connector, that's when you remove the "wire" if you've jumpered the 4th & 13th terminals.

@@tiresombeast677 Hi - I'm not sure. This procedure resets the gearbox for use as new. I don't think it locks the clutches (but I could be wrong!)

Hello, I have a big problem with the Yaris 2007 MMT. After a longer drive, the N started flashing and stopped shifting. After 3 months in the service, I bought a new actuator, clutch, box computer. The procedure was tried from the computer, but it did not work with the computer. I managed manually with a strap in pins 4/13 N++++EN then N----EN then N+-+-EN , it worked, after 3000 km it started to jump out of gear and flash N . I set myself up as a craftsman and tried the Learning Mode procedure, the one above. N has disappeared, I don't know what to do to at least make it go like before, even if it jumps out of gear. Please give me some advice, the car doesn't move, N has disappeared.

If N has dissapeared you have to change clutch actuator, N dissapeared because it won’t insert any gear it went out completely

This is manual gearbox with robot. So yes need to change oil every 40-50.000km. Need to use 75w80 or 75w90 full synthetic oil about 2 liters

I have repaired the electromotors of the shift gear and still is getting me out of the gear!! Is having same probem. Where can I buy a robot for this car model? I have same car as this on youtube.

Hi.yuri. i have a 2008 Toyota Corolla mmt . I have changed the actuator and did the diagnostic test and clear all faults. The car select gear when its starts but after diving for s while it gets hot and then i stop the car goes into neutral and then it would not select any gear until i wait for it to get cool down then it will select a gear. I would appreciate it if you assist me with the problem thank you

Hi, before you changed your actuator did you ever experience a slight judder from the clutch starting off in 1st gear especially more so in the wet but disappear when the warms up and kind of slight jerkiness slowing down when coming to a stop thanks

Hi. Check for codes, if no codes - do calibration for clutch (if no codes only!) If no help, check for mount of gearbox, shafts or other mechanical problem. If clutch actuator not working properly - you will have some trouble code.

Hi. My friend just got a used Pug 107 auto with the 3 cylinder engine and this type of gearbox. Is this a one clutch box like the Smart car or is it a dual clutch gearbox? I want to be ready to help for any repairs or diagnostics. I have seen a video for a clutch servo motor repair but nothing else. Can this be done with no laptop or obd tool? Thanks

Nope these are one clutch box like Smart...actually Smart use the same gearbox as Toyota, Peugeot, Fiat etc it’s called “robotic gearbox” and it just has a traditional clutch like a Manual but ofc it works Automatic

2008 auris mmt 1.6 goes into neutral whist driving (flashing N) then I have to turn off ignition for 10 seconds then start car then everything back to normal.. until it happens again of course.. any smililar experience or ideas as to what it is? It would be most appreciated.

Hello. With suzuki swift it not working. Suzuki has same system but not same diagnostic. Check for codes with some scanner, may br try with ELM327 and app CarScanner

From what I know this means you need the clutch changed and reprogrammed again. Happened to someone who I know. Plus it happen to me today so I will need to get it changed also. Also my car had been driven 6-7 hours before problem occurred.

I had an issue on a 2010 1.4 D4D semi automatic, after a clutch change it was coming out of gear, waiting a couple of minutes and driving on. I could only find one matching actuator off a 1.3 petrol, they look 100% identical, are the motors etc the same? Also the car does not start since replacing, any ideas please?

This is fix some shaking or jerking of car on first, from first to second or reverse. But this not solution if car has some problem and sometimes light up some trouble code.
