in short: o2 sensor got replaced and it fixed the problem

Hi, you can use any scan tool that gives you live data, most scan tools give you this informations

My issue was a sticky gummy Backside of the throttle body. Once I cleaned it never had any issue with stalling or idle dropping so low.

@@3rminator What if you are having the same problems you talk about but with NO check engine light, could the oxygen sensor still be bad?

@@alexshatner3907 yes sometimes you don’t get the fault code, best to check the reading of O2 sensor to be sure. Bad airflow meter can cause this issues and also dirty throttle body.

It can be , sometimes the airflow meter does the same thing. You can check your o2 sensor with scan tool to see if it’s working.

You can try, it won’t hurt but most of the time it will need replacements.

There’s lot of things that can cause the high fuel consumptions, you can check the O2 sensors to see if they reading correctly following the steps on this video, it can be the airflow meter also and so on

It’s O2 sensor, sensor one. First sensor before the cat.
