The truck: Born from a combination of an '86 2wd from California and an '83 4wd from here in BC the Yeti made his debut in March 2018. He had been semi built by a friend of a friend of mine 5 years prior and sat most of the year only being driven a few times each summer. Before Stacey and I were dating, (I was totally courting her) I took her down to look at the truck with me (she's cool like that). We test drove it, and I new I wanted it, and she knew I was going to buy it. I said to her "this thing is like a sasquatch" and she said "nah, it's more like a Yeti." And so it was from that day forward. Since then he's had some significant upgrades in looks and performance. November 2020 he was rolled in an offroading accident and the cab was replaced with another '86 2wd cab (the blue one).

Tell the TJ driver that the gas pedal is not an on/off switch. More wheel spin does not mean more traction, and when you first don't succeed don't always go at it again with more speed... completely saw the flip coming by the way he's driving. Hope he's learned his lesson in off-roading and not putting lives in danger

Zippy in the TJ would have deserved you guys just continuing to roll it over the top then back onto its wheels. Sure hope he is a bunch smarter! Wet moss and granite is slick!

Jeep TJ driver seems like a bit of a knuckle head. Not surprised he flipped her, the way he was driving full send. I don’t expect that d30 to last long. Also kinda surprised you choose that skinny ass tree to winch off of at first. MAtt you should know better 😆😜

Ive been wheeling alone for over a decade now only because I can’t find anyone who will wheel as much as I do and that truly doesn’t care about body damage. Now I have self recovered myself a few times but it’s rare. Worst accident was when I rolled my 12 Tacoma off the I-70 on black ice just north of Moab. But I have 5 Toyota Rigs that are all Very Trust worthy in the middle of nowhere in the Az. Desert. TOYOTA NATION MOTHAFUCKAS!!!💪💪

New subscriber here. That Chinook build grabbed my attention. I’m a Jeep guy but I’ve always had respect for the Yotas. I’m liking the content here. Gonna stick around a while for sure. My thoughts on that TJ. 1. Too much air in the tires. 2. Hardtops ruin center of gravity 3. Too much lift for a 93”wheelbase.

Darren's an animal. He gets the win for sure. Jeeps vs toyotas IMO it's not so much the rig as it is the driver behind the wheel that makes the difference. We will have to get the jl on that trail and try not to roll it. 😏

This guy could have been actually hurt and he messed up his truck and you're gonna go after him about driving on moss in the mossiest part of the world? Not trying to disregard your option here but it is unwarranted. If you are with a group of people like this in real life and convince then not to drive on moss then more power to you, but don't do it here on youtube

Well it’s hard to say for sure but all the on camera driving of the TJ was ridiculous so… I’ll lean on driver error as the cause for an unnecessary and dangerous roll over. Lucky that saw and all that other shit didn’t kill his missus or dog.

Great video and cool idea 💡 Sucks the Wrangler went over but Great thing about the Wrangler, almost always fixable and from someone who's had a bunch of Jeeps, TJ's , XJ's ( Still haveone andtotally miss my 4.6 stroker ) , WJ's , ZJ's , I've lost track? 😆 My name even with my biker friends is Frank Rubicon, permanently! But since I got my 03 Tacoma and did the S.A.Swap with the "Jeep" axle, I don't see myself going back to Jeep, inevitability I will probably end up with another horrible ( Still in the driveway ) Unibody XJ or incredible Offroad and completely horrible on road TJ Wrangler but when I get in my Tacoma and, poof close the door and it's decently quite nice riding pickup truck 🛻 Building a half Unibody MJ was not an option and the silly bed and ridiculous wheelbase and price ( 100,000-270,000$ US ) for a Gladiator just wasn't going to work, but my Toyota, I feel like ( I'm not ) one of those smart People who ( You Guys ) drives Toyotas forever and rarely has a mechanical problem, but hey if you're into offroad and you want to have the same Rig as the guy next to you at the Jeep Jamboree or whatever exclusive Jeep Nazi ( They 100% will not let you in if you don't have a jeep ) event, then by all means, buy a Jeep ( I do love jeeps ) or build something unique and different, sorry for the rant but, "It's a jeep thing, you wouldn't understand" WTF???

@@ToyotaWorldRunners I been saying it for a while, I would love to put a 4.0 in a yota just to piss off the World 🌎 I already have a First Gen tacoma with half of a XJ front axle and the other Half is FSJ, I love my Hybrid Axle, Dana 30HP with Dana 44 outer and 1/2 inch thick welded cut and turned with a Oldschool I believe Detroit Lunchbox, 4:56 ( Wish I would have went lower ) gears ⚙️ and a 6 lug , no one has a Dana 3044HP Hybrid 6 Lug , I've picked up and walked around with Dana 30s , who hasn't, but this little axle weighs a ton!
