​@@edwinsallan correct, kaya nga tinanggal ang mga yan dahil bias sila in favor of Crispa. Dyan na pumasok sina Joe Cantada, Andy Jao, Ed Picson and Steve Kattan as the new commentators

I was going to comment about that last lay up, wala pa palang 3pt line noon... Classic talaga ito!

Crispa would go on to win game 5 after this and eventually winning their first grand slam in 1976.

well... according to Lost Media Wiki: "It is known that in the 1960s, MBC's DZRH-TV Channel 11 televised MICAA with Dick Ildefonso and Gabby Tabaniag. In some years of 1960s and early 70s, ABS-CBN's DZXL-TV Channel 4 televised MICAA with Emy Arcilla and Dick Ildefonso.[3][4] GTV-4 (now PTV-4) televised MICAA coverages until its dissolution in 1981.[5] Personal video recordings of coverages are unknown if existed. Several pictures of the games survived but video recordings of them aren't yet resurfaced. There is a low chance a TV video recording will also resurface" well that means all televised MICAA games are lost.

Sweet memories. I did not remember this particular game. But I remember those times of my early childhood when PBA started in the mid 70's and the Crispa Toyota rivalry. I think there were no national basketball before PBA or there maybe some Leagues but not as popular. My uncles and his friends would come to our house to watch PBA on our black and white national brand tv. There were also times when just me and my late father would watch PBA.

according to Lost Media Wiki: The inaugural game of PBA on April 9, 1975, is lost, there is only a surviving photograph with Ms. PBA (Mia Montemayor) tossing the ceremonial ball between Cisco Oliver of Mariwasa and Ramon Lucindo of Concepcion. It is known that the first game was aired after the second game in 1975 on KBS-9 (now RPN-9/CNN Philippines) and GTV-4 (now PTV-4) in 1978 after the 30-minute news. The oldest known surviving footage of PBA is from November 12, 1976, during the Toyota-Crispa fight uploaded by Jojo Bailon.[4] PBA themselves released 1980s PBA footage, the earliest is July 8, 1982,[5] while the earliest full game footage not uploaded by PBA is from 1980. Although there are scenes uploaded from the 1970s-1980s, only a few of them has a full game, with some uploaded by PBA themselves. The first seven seasons of the league's coverages are believed to be lost. Several playoffs games, including Ginebra games, are believed to be missing on the PBA Archives. It is believed that some clips or even full matches are in the hands of private collectors.

one year old pa lang ang PBA dyan. kapag Final o Championship game, delayed masyado ang TV broadcast sa sobrang dami ng commercials. kaya sa radyo ka makinig ng game, live na live. dyan nabuhay o nagsimula ang larong "ending"....

Bakit ganun? Game clock na lang, lamang ng tatlo, tumitira pa yung Crispa. Lamang ng 7, under 1-minute nagmadali pa sa pilit na fastbreak 😆

Na alala ko ang tatay ko. Siguro 1974 or 75 yong year nag start ang PBA. Crispa vs. Toyota. Replay lang yon sa amin mula sa Cebu Channel 11 yata yon. Pero di pa namin alam sino nanalo dahil wala namang news paper at hindi bino broadcast sa radyo. Nanay ko at kapatid ko tulog na. Kami nalang ng tatay ko ang nanood ng tv at pagkatapos ng game punta kami sa kusina magloloto at kakain ng pangalawang haponan.

Si Dick Ildefonso yan. Hindi pa nag cocommentator si Quinito in the 1970s. Emy Arcilla and Dick Ildefonso ang regular commentators noon.
