I really want to get one for my tundra . I got Morimoto gen2 on my Tacoma and I really loved it .

I can see replacing the old incandescent headlights, but it’s not enough of an improvement over the LED lights that come on the later models. Does the beam height adjustment (for towing) work with these?

Twice the output compared to OEM LED!!! You sure about that? If so, I'm sold.

Email us directly for the best pricing. Adapter not required for the 2019 if its Halogen. You need the optional relay though if you dont have the factory LED strip at the bottom of the halogen light.

I have a 2020 tundra Pro it came factory LEDs do I need to special adapter harness or is that just for the halogen

I have 2020 trd pro. Do these cause any problems with hyper flash or shorting fuses? I'm reading horror stories with certain aftermarket lights added to newer tundras. I'd love to get these I'm just nervous something will happen and void my warranty

Any horror story you may have read about most likely relates to improper installation. We have seen some crazy ways people make connections. In reality its very easy. There are no issues with these lights what so ever that will cause shorts in the factory wiring circuit. If a fuse blows it means a connection was not properly made. No hyper flash issues.

I just hooked mine up on a 2020 with OEM LED and my DRLs or side markers don’t come on. Turn signals and low and high beams work though. Any ideas as to what could be wrong?

Likely blew a fuse. Check the orientation of the wiring for that 2 pin harness. I think with the OEM LED lights the connection is different. They include the extra adapter harness.

@@LightwerkzGlobal so I wired the harness for the DRL and now they work. However the side markers still don’t work, and also the motor for beam adjustment and the startup sequence doesn’t work either. Just missing those three things now. I’ve checked all of the wiring and connections and they are good. Could those be a blown fuse? If so which ones?

@@cjr9597 I would recommend reaching out for support to Morimoto directly. Side markers are your parking lights, I would saw blown fuse. Never heard of any motor issues as those are plug and play but maybe they use the ground from the parking lights. Pop the fuse panel and start digging in the mean time.

Really like how bright the amber drl is at max output. I passed by a tacoma with one on a cloudy day and it was blindingly bright. tempted to get a set for my tundra. Whats the difference between parking lights and drl? I thought they were the same thing, but it appears 2 different brightness. By the way I understand you are an authorized reseller of morimoto, but have you opened up one of these before? I am really curious what LED chips are used inside the amber drls. I know they are osram, but would be cool to know the exact chip models.

50% dimmer on parking light. Meaning at night it won’t blind anyone. Reach out to us directly we can help you with the lights.
