Big help thanks.my problem was my spare tire was low on air. After airing up my spare tire, I was able to reset the light go off.

My TMPS light hasn't been working since I bought the truck new. I had the dealer look in the dash because the old default key FOBs wouldnt work (after removing 3rd party alarm from the truck) and dealer tells me that the truck must have been in an accident because the key-FOB sensor board was completely missing. I am hoping that replacing that and getting the key FOB working will also fix the bluetooth connection to the tire sensors.

My friend I don't think so because the tpms receiver is a single unit different from the keyfob reciever

Unless you fix the issues, won't the codes just regenerate the warning lights?

yes you have to fix the issue

That was the greasy thing I ever heard to say Its okay to replace it with a used one that you've seen die in a month providing they are going to sell it? No it isn't okay. fix it right or refuse to do it.

Yes the 2006 to 2012 will work not newer models

So are you saying you cant reprogram the new tpms sensors unless you replace the spare as well. Im haveing an issue clearing mine as i only replaced 4 sensors

That's right if your tacoma , 4 runner , tundra I've seen all of them have 5 sensors you need to have all of them working

@@inthedogghouse86 yes at the beginning I spent hours trying to figure out why I was getting the signal of a sensor I didn't replaced then when the autel scanner came out I found out about the spare tire sensor, but I think Toyota already discontinued this because they found out that after sitting a long time the spare tire is the first sensor to drain the battery.

Can it pass the smock with tha light on?

Is not related with the engine performance but for a couple of bucks I would fix it.

Not all come with tmps on the spare

Good info BUT..... get to the point without talking so much. I just want to know the procedure as quick as possible. When watching these "how to" videos people don't need their time wasted with background info. I dont need you to prove the old sensors are not working.
