I've had these on my 2019 Tacoma for about a year now. They work great make opening that heavy hood so easy.

The first state ...DELAWARE... you Chanel has been very instructional and helpful. It’s one of my favorite and keeps getting better. I’m an old timer and lifting this hood is a real pain. I own a 2019 taco TRD off-road.

Glad it helped!

I just installed these bad boys and absolutely love them. It’s well worth having to drill and rivet to get this level of installation. Those “no drill” models have a leverage point that don’t instill confidence in me that they’ll hold up user time. These are positioned in a way that I feel provide better support to the hood.

Great installation video! Really like this for my 2018 TRD here in Virginia Beach, VA.

I’m from Rawlins, Wyoming. This hood prop system is what I truly need for my 2019 3rd Gen Tacoma DCLB TRD-OR pickup. Took delivery of the cool long-bed truck after trading in my 2016 3rd Gen Tacoma DCSB TRD-OR. Preferred long bed over the short bed version.

Mebane, North Carolina here! 2016 4x4 SR5 I absolutely asked a Toyota engineer why there weren't hood struts on the Tacoma. I asked them to please add this as an option. I can only hope they took it back with them. For me, I will have to use one of these systems!
