Wow! Awesome information. I went to a dealership and they tried to sell me replacement tire sensors for $300 each. They never mentioned replacing batteries. They checked tire pressure on 4 tires, not the spare. I will check all 5 tires now and see what happens. It's so good to know there are good honest people who care about customers. GOD bless you. Thank you.

Well, I’ll be dipped! Three days ago the blasted TPMS light on out 2007 Lexus ES 350 came on! No blinking, just a steady light. A couple of the tires were slightly low so I aired them up. Light still on! I stumbled onto this video by accident! Never would have dreamed to spare had a sensor! It’s the original spare, never been on the ground and more than likely, never been checked! Guess what I’m going to do tomorrow morning! Great video! 1

Great video. My father has 6cyl 2007 rav4 sport. Incredible vehicle, easily best he ever owned. This one here is in incredible shape, that lady cares about her vehicle and it shows. The one thing that consistently bothers my dad is that the tires lose pressure alot. Oddly enough it's the driver side rear that gives him the most trouble. I say oddly because he's switched it with the spare, same deal, bought a new rim, same deal. We've changed tires, valve stems, made sure they beaded it properly, changed tire shops. Nothing works. So I think it's just this model's rims. But more of an inconvenience than anything else. I'm a Ford guy myself, but my dad's 2007 Toyota rav4 sport is better than any vehicle I've ever owned. Least problems of any vehicle I've known. Thanks for the info I will inflate his spare just for piece of mind of knowing that one is inflated and not setting off the light. 👍

This is exactly what happened to our 2008 RAV4. We drove to Canada from NJ that same light came on while we were in Canada. I checked all 4 tire pressures and they were all fine. I thought there was a malfunction and then I remembered it has a full size spare on the back. So I checked the pressure there and sure enough it was low. So I filled it up and the light went away. So now when ever I check the tire pressures before a long trip I also check the spare tire pressure with all of our vehicles.

My TPMS warning light is steady on. Turns out two were not transmitting. Sit too long during the Rona house arrest. Found out you can wake them up by releasing pressure for xx seconds and then reinflating. However the numbers change from seconds and PSI. Went to tire store and attached auto pressure pump to deflate to 20 and reinflate to 35 and it woke up one of them. Procedure may be different like many makes and models but also Pacific may have different programming between TPMS. I say that only because I did it manually and it did not work on one. There is no reset TPMS on this year vehicle. And no trigger programming like on American makes, done a lot of times after rotation.

The light does not come on but this message on my comes on the screen ( where the radio and back up camera screen is) it says "a malfunction in the tire pressure warning system has been detected. Do not relay on this system. Please contact your toyota dealer to have your vehicle inspected" The dealership doesnt seem to think its an issue and told me toyota will send a signal to the car to make it go away.......stupid response for I dont know! Help someone. Again tires are brand new and the actually tire light is not on.

WELL DONE!!!!!!
Great job 👍🏾
I currently have the same issue with my spare on my 08" RAV4, slowly leaks air and sets of dash light. . Maybe it's only a problem with the green ones because I have the same color...😆
Well that makes sense if you look in the manual that tires supposed to be part of rotation
My Rav4 started flashing, does that mean I need to replace something else, either than the sensor
Brilliant!
Awesome, thanks!
thanks ,I ' m very happy!!!!
Went through this about a month ago on my daughters 2012 Rav4. Tire light on, all pressures are good, here is was the spare.....
Hi I'm from Northern California can you change my spark plugs please.
hi, rav 4 2021, I hold OK button on tpms menu for reset, but nothing happen
Awesome
My son has the same Rav4, exactly this one and I put air for all five tires with 32 psi, but the warning light still not going off.
Can you please explain why the engine is making that noise?
Wish my ford f250 spare had a sensor! Got a flat and changed it and the spare was at 20 psi. Had to take 25 minutes with my portable pump to take it to 50-60!
Thank you!!🤗
Nice good God bless
I hope you can help me, when is the right pressure you should have, a week ago I bought a rav4 and it gave me the low-pressure signal, I went to inflate them and left them at 40psi the 5 tires but the light does not turn off.

Same to my 2006 Rav4, 129000 miles. 5 tires at 36, but light doesn't go off.
Had that happen on my Tacoma a couple times.
Well done.
What happens if the light stays on and all tires are at 32?
Love you accent
Did that still on
Genius!
Someone Help! I have a Rav4 2019 LE. And i had brand new tires put on the car.
“She will be very happpeehh” nice
