-"They both have 4 wheels" - that got me sir Caco, so witty!😆
Bought the turbo a month ago. To those contemplating on buying, I can really say it is money well spent. If you can stretch your budget a little bit then do your self a favor and go for the turbo. I would like to add that the driver's seat on the turbo can be height adjusted (manually) and there is the power mode and sport mode("manual") for the turbo, both of which performs a bit differently from just using the automatic drive mode. I have tried all modes on a long ride with long and some extremely inclined uphill climbs (4 passengers including driver) and the car performed beyond my expectations, no hesitation at all. The turbo unit doesn't necessarily turn on all the time so the car can essentially be driven as if it was only a 1.0L but almost has the power of a 1.5L engine available when needed. Great review as always.

@@binSs18Me as driver, 1 adult at front passenger side, 1 adult and 1 child (8y.o.) at the rear seats. No heavy or significant cargo onboard. Not necessarily at full capacity. I have tried carrying 4 adults at the rear and 1 adult at the front at city driving conditions and personally I have not noticed any sharp drop in performance to really say that the car struggled. There was more than enough power available when needed.

Good to know, but your info about how turbo works is mildly misleading.
This is the video that I've been waiting for... Esp the hill test! Thank you AutoDeal!
Nice comparo between the 1.0 turbo and 1.2 G. Hopefully the 1.2 E manual transmission gets some love too
Great video! You guys are definitely my favorite when it comes to car reviews!
Quality content! Please do consider doing comparo with the manual variant as well. That’s the literal bang for the buck.
I got a chance to see the Raize Turbo in person and it's actually bigger than I thought..... Seeing that it is always being referred to as a tiny tiny car... Great reviews.
definitely one of the best and detailed review on the Raize G and Turbo variant. No sugarcoating added and is very honest on the performance of the car. I'd still go for Turbo even with that price diff.
Jack should be included in more videos! Rapport is really great bantering with Caco. Awesome job, guys!
Hi from UAE (Abu Dhabi) I have learned a lot about this car compared to any other videos thanks alot
Awesome review as always. I just notice that AD doesn't feature MT or any base model. I hope they feature some in the future because there is a market for manual and base models too.
I will be commuting from the city to our farm and a small portion of our commute will be on a questionably managed gravel road. I wanted the larger R17 tires and higher ground clearance of the Raize (8 in) to deal with imperfect roads. Also we have limited space for parking in the city so a Conquest 4 x 4 was not a consideration. So the Raize is a good compromise for us and ~ 1M was my max budget. My wife and I really liked the additional safety features that come with the turbo (BSM, RCTA, rear passenger airbags). She usually challenges me for every peso and I was expecting her to insist on the cheapest model but she was all in on the more expensive turbo. They only have a yellow turbo on the floor now but I expect to order Turquoise blue turbo this week. Edit: I agree with the author that it would have noteworthy to have rear passenger vents for aircon - this is the Philippines. Our tester forgot to use his paddle-shifters and manually shift on steep slopes 😁
Ngl, Caco already nailed the review from the start 😆 On a more serious note, this is one hell of a detailed review. There is much more commentary which some would hate but I absolutely love, made the review feel more natural. How Caco really tested the two vehicles is commendable, the effort the whole team, Jack and the others included. Again, showed the pros and definitely the honest cons that most people and reviews hide away from the public. Another job well and spectacularly done by the AD team, no doubt the channel I trust the most as of this moment.

Good comparo!!! Thank you for being transparent and true feedback of the cars. Hoping that it will also have a comparo on it's competitors
Yeah. If we stick to what the cars were originally designed for, the NA version is the more appropriate fit. Personally, I would go Turbo if I'm a person who travels in and out of Manila via tollway or skyway. But if you live within Metro Manila and travel mostly within it, the NA would be more beneficial because of fuel economy.
Nice review . Much love from Kenya
A great video. Well explained and to the point.
Hi, Could I suggest when you make these reviews and comparisons to also include and make prominent the safety features e.g. 3point seat belts, airbags, etc? That on top of exterior/interior looks, engine performance, fuel efficiency, passenger & cargo space (balik bayan boxes), interior noise cancellation and ground clearance would be FANTASTIC! Thank you.
Great review as always 👏👏👏 ... new thing to consider in car reviews are real world scenarios like including the number of possible passengers that would fit and ride with you and testing the car's capabilities to make it a little more realistic than the usual👍 looking forward to having a "good relationship with the road" too 😁
I choose the G variant because of this detailed review..thanks caco👍👍
Thanks for the video.. very helpful indeed.
Great video and more so a great review and comparo! Kudos to you guys, more particularly, Caco! Very nice! One question though (I don't think you've mentioned and conscious of), did you use the Raize's "S" (from the manual, they termed it Slope - NOT Sports) mode with the "Power" button on the steering wheels?
Twas great that your able to test the CVT in a steep incline road. But still I'll go for a traditional automatic or a manual for good pickup in that situation and as always it was a great review.

except for the Wigo, halos lahat ng 5 seater small/medium passenger vehicles ng Toyota ay naka optional na CVT so,,, either pick an alternative sa Raize or deal with it, i guess.

Set it to manual since the cvt has a 7th gear..
I bought the turbo variant of daihatsu rocky. Here in Pakistan the turbo is definitely worth spending extra money on because there is an yearly tax on engines above 1L capacity. Love the car and all its features.
This is way more economical than buying EV ❤
This is Perodua Ativa in Malaysia. Super famous and reliable daily car here in Malaysia.
thanks!!! more power! just subscribed
This is just so timely for me. ❤❤❤
Quality content again Still on the fence if i should get this due to engine vibration and the lack of left foot rest
Hello po. if you guys want a steep road for your test drives, there's a place here in Angono called mahabang parang, I think the official name of the road is Don Mariano Santos Ave. Thank you for the detailed review of the 2 variants of Raize.
Based sa website review cvt tames down the engine and needs momentum. We have m/t variant and ang ganda ng acceleration niya. Dumadamba pa kapag diniin mo napakadali mag overtake and mag pick up ng speed. We installed stiff rings, spring dampers, struts and anti roll bars, napaka steady niya kahit high speeds. Ako na yung natatakot kahit alam ko na kaya pa niya isagad.
Oh I just feel more relieved after seeing this comparison review as I just purchased the 1.2 G CVT variant. I am so amazed of the features and the ride is for me really great!

Hi Sir. Can you give feedback regarding your Raize experience so far? 😊 Planning to buy the G version too.
I got a g and it was enough for my needs, it even has power mode
It’s a bit suprising uphill performance given that sir Caco was not able to showcase if he did it while it was on eco or power mode. Fire content as always sir Caco! 🔥
Thank you for doing the loaded hill test. I could have forgiven the lack of rear vents, if they had remote start. I would always skip a 3 cylinder eco car, too much vibration.
Oh , this is not the facelift model ? I think the new one has different center console with electric handbrake and Auto Hold, right ? Great video. I like your style in presenting.
thank you for creating video like this.
Very helpful, thank you 😊
I like this review. you shouldve done the same test with the avanza and veloz
AutoDeal, can you please review the Haima 7X? Yours truly, An avid subscriber looking to find his first vehicle
Congrats Mang Torney!! Nasa AutoDeal ka na pala 🤣🤣
Blue pill for me 🙂
Thank you for this video and yes i subscribed
Well for me,.If ever I have the buck! I'm definitely going for the blue 💙 pill (turbo) Since it's more relaxing,.And it's boat loads of safety features too lacking a 360° or back cam at least,,..You've got parking sensor front and back as well as airbags (side and front) Plus points too,.Is those two-toe wheels! Na dagdag pogi points or ganda points narin As for the latter the red ♥️ pill (the G) duon,.Sa wheels niya ay muhkang basic narin So yeah,.I'm definitely! Going for the blue 💙 pill 👍😉👍
I juat bought the red G variant. I drove to antipolo for it to be blessed.
You should test the hill start along Little Baguio in San Juan or along Old Wack Wack Road going to Shaw. That’s a tricky hill because there’s a traffic light before you cross Shaw.
Fantastic review and comparison sir. Great work as always! 😊
Thanks for the honest review
Very well explained.. Ty. 👍
Thank you for the video
I own a Turbo raize. It's fun with the paddle shifters.
Hey, Caco! Please do a comparo of the Hyundai Venue vs the Raize please. Thanks!
thank you for mentioning Almera. planning to get the Almera 1.0 turbo MT at 779k. :)
The reason why the antenna bends is because of the car cover. My crv became bent after I put the car cover.
Neo is right indeed. But I love that turquoise colorrrr. I hope they'll have that on the wigwig
Raize turbo has blackout roof but the raize g doesn't. Thats obviously wrap because the roof of the raize g is body color
I'm looking forward to a comparo between Toyota Raize, Honda WR-V and Changan CS35+
Ive driven my raize to Tagaytay, just me and 1 pax though. It's fine and a bit peppier if you use the power mode.
The turbo is extremely powerful and more popular, we had this in Malaysia 🇲🇾 called perodua Ativa
19:50 عزم الدوران كلما ارتفع كلما كانت حركة المركبة اسهل خصوصا في الصعود
Planning to buy the MT version of this
They’ve already incorporated some memes this time, which is hilarious ❤️
that CDR King punch line reminded me of how old I am. thank you so much for that :D
Nice comparo. I think uphill drive is a non-issue, even if its fully loaded. Driven Suzuki Celerio gen2 CVT in steep roads (Baguio asin road, Ifugao via Dalton Pass, Tanay windmills, Infanta via Marilaque, Subic via Morong Bataan, Revpal in Laguna-Tagaytay and Davilan in Carmona) fully loaded (2 adults, 2 teens and bike rack mounted) and full blast AC. No issues encountered. Took a while to gain momentum after stopping on the steep part but no slouch naman.
A manual variant with all the amenities of the turbo model would be great.
In Indonesia 1.2 G manual and CVT just in Single tone color.
Wish you will make a comparo with the variant
I hope the next comparo will be the manual and the cvt
Nakakatawa ka talaga sir. The besr PH car reviewer ever. Keep up the good work mate. 🎉😊
The N/A Raize variants uses body coloured roof. The one featured in the video is customized to have a 2 tone roof colour😁

An added option as said by a friend who works for the brand. I prefer a monotone color, tho how I wish we had more color options.
nice matrix shot 👏
Do you have a review using the " sports mode" instead of just the "automatic mode" uphill & fullstop test so we can compare the Power of the two variants🤔😊
this is a good economy vehicle, just what is needed. no luxury. no bs
ganda ng ganitong content. excited na ako ma release yung 1.2 G CVT red ko next week.

For potholes and gigantic manila curbs I would get 16 inch rims.
Quality content.
@5:27 , the dreaded 3-cylinder engine vibrations
CRT monitor that got mi Caco hahaha. Don’t worry you’re not the only one 😂
Sir caco is there spresso automatic now here in the Phil
Sana sa auto comparo maisama mo yang uphill review mr.caco
Dude, can you do a review like this on the Toyota Rush 2023. Thanks!!!
Everything. I've learned about CVT's says they are fine but only if you change the transmission fluid often.
Could you try to make a comparison about the maintenance of 1.0 turbo engine and 1.2 vvt-i (not turbo). Which of the two can provide savings when it comes to engine maintenance for lower costs.
Try wigo too the amount of space inside is magic 😂
I am happy with my raize g.
Nice info
Raize E, cheapest of the AT and has the same performance as the G variant. Has the best value for money imo

PLease a Comparo between Vios and Raize,
Now how about 3 way batle between Raize v Venue v Tiggo 2 pro? Battle of the 3 Nations...
Hi, I hope you notice my comment. Is there any choice for the G variant to have a Two Tone color ?
Does the Turbo variant has an auxiliary water pump that continues to run after you turn off the engine to circulate coolant in the turbo to cool it down further at least 10 mins after you turn off the engine.
Missing my '92 charade daihatsu 12valves 3cyl 1.0L dohc turbo😁💪🏼👊🏼
How about the starbucks hill?
Oh yes, it's worth it, why? It's because of its Apple CarPlay and Android capability whereToyota Rush have not and given the fact na Toyota pa. Nice complete review 😊
