Tom here: I agree. They've nailed it by sharing platforms with the PSA Group. Their small van platform is immense.

Tom here: I'm inclined to agree!
I really do not like platform sharing at all. In my opinion is a bad choice. With the wealth and capability of such a gigantic company as Toyota, they could have made their own platform way better than the common one. Oh well...
I guess this wonk be available in the states
Don't put chocolate bars in any of the storage areas on the dash with the heater on, you'll find they'll melt rather quickly.

Tom here: Too true. My Lion Bar is gone forever - just a sludgey mess and no one to blame but myself.
How easy would it be to have a child seat in the middle with a 2 year old in it and an another adult on the outside seat?

Tom here: You'd have to have the child seat on the outside passenger seat (more room & won't obstruct the gear stick) with the passenger airbag switched off. Then your main adult in the middle. It's the only way to get a full-size child seat in there safely.

I own the bussiness edition and it's ok. It sucks but it's ok in comparison with the other vans, but it still sucks. The old HIACE was wayyyyy better

Sucks in what compared to HIACE? Because I have the long HIACE 2000 model and I'm looking for these new ones.
Franco-japanese vehicle. Much better than the old Hiace.

Tom here: Agree. The PSA Group platforms are incredibly good. That's 4 small vans using the same platform now. Wouldn't be surprised to see at least one more join their ranks soon...

@@vanaramauk You mean the next gen Fiat Doblo? I'm self also waiting for the all new Boxer/Jumper/Movano/Ducato, and I hope that they will all get this time a PSA-platform with PSA-quality of course and not anymore a cheap Fiat-platform what it has been so far.
Pretty amazingly stupid that this van doesn't come with Toyota's hybrid engines. smh...

Poor show Vanarama!!! I was so looking forward to seeing your video, RHD vids on tube are impossible to find. What's with the lion bars? Far too much talk, not enough of the van visuals. and shit music spoiling the whole video. How does the '...road dictate'? My right foot dictates.
