I had one of these in red. But it was a 1988 model so it had the 4 square headlight front. I think it looked better than the round headlights. It was a beast. Went everywhere in it. Up and down the east coast of Australia a few times. Great memories.

HJ61 HighRoof, HJ61RG - MZXQ to be exact. 60-Series alright, but since we ALL KNOW that first letter indicates what engine is under that mighty hood let's, please... finally, get those models RIGHT. ;) BJ60 (3B 3.4 liter 4-cyl. diesel), FJ60 (2F 4.2 liter 6-cyl. gasoline), HJ60 (2H 4.0 liter 6-cyl. diesel) and mighty HJ61 (12H-T 4.0 6-cyl. turbo diesel). We in Finland got those in 1986... and they were equipped with factory diff. locks front & rear and optional PTO winch. And of course with 5-speed H55F transmission since it came 1983 to our HJ60 models. We had nice models and goodies - thanks Korpivaara, official importer back then, who negotiated those models and goodies. :) Like SWB BJ42 with 5-speed manual transmission and full-floater rear axle. 8-) Or LWB BJ45 Troopie and P-U models.

Didn't know that Freddie mercury was the passenger hahaha
