Toyota Hilux rear axle bearing assembly using a new axle shaft (Non-ABS) | changing the wheel studs

How to put Hilux / Vigo rear axle bearing back together including changing the studs
If you are buying bearings or a shaft be aware the shaft changes and therefor so do the bearings after 7/2008, check and be sure to buy the correct parts
This is for non-ABS if you have ABS you will need to fit the ring and a second collar after the first collar and circlip, the measurement depth you install the collar and ring is important and should be measured on disassembly to ensure it goes back in the same place (122.2 mm from the face of the wheel mounting hub to the top of the second collar)
Following up on my disassembly video below.
• Toyota Hilux / Vigo re...
I now have my new genuine shaft and can retire the old shaft that has covered almost 1/2 a million kilometres.
As stated in the video these are not considered best practice for reassembly, a large press is best for strip and reassemble but if you like me, don't have one this works just fine to get it all together.
I hope this video in part or entirety can assist you on you job.
Thanks for watching!
