Toyota Hilux lockable, hidden (concealed) rearlight gun compartment by Black Sheep Innovations GmbH

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Toyota Hilux, Waffenfach. Gun/Riffle compartment. Hunting edition.
Soon available for different brands. Proudly made in Switzerland.
Not only for weapons, also perfect for tools, fishing rods etc.
#black_wool_news
#revo
#toyota
Clarification:
This conversion was made in Switzerland and is used to transport hunting and sporting weapons. The storage compartments can be locked and meet all European requirements for the transport of weapons, which state that the weapon must not be visible and must be transported locked. In addition, it is not permitted to transport the gun loaded. The weapon is only insured if it is properly transported and will therefore be replaced by the insurance company in the event of an accident.
We are primarily concerned with the implementation of technical challenges. It doesn't matter to us whether the customer wants to transport a goldfish or, as in this case, a weapon. It's all about the technical implementation! Of course, the storage compartment is dust and water resistant.
Many commentators should perhaps be aware that there are other countries in this world where it's not about shooting each other down or running amok!

NGL I've been wondering WHEN someone was gonna make something like this for any vehicle since there's so many empty spaces around the the vehicle. I know they're crumple zones, but i think it's up to you to pick n choose which ones you could sacrifice. In this case, it's perfectly fine (until you get in a minor fender bender and then gotta wrestle it out). Great idea TBH

There are alot of spaces/gaps on alot trucks, that I wish manufacturers would take advantage of. We're finally just now in the last few years starting to see (consistently) bedrail boxes, tailgate storage, under seat storage. But all makers need to do this stuff.... If I could weld aluminum (I'm not trying to add weight and easy corrosion with metal), I'd come up with all kinds of stuff. I'm not surprised this brand is in Switzerland. Europe and Australia got all kinds of neat toys for Trucks and RV's.

@@whitetiger5181 well, Hilux ain't imported because the USA has a different market and hogher starndards regarding certain safety things that some people might find silly, but those are still there. Now, a lot of cars are manufactures in Mexico and to be honest, it is the best balance available between cost and quality. Other countries might make better vehicles (very few, but there are some like Germany and Japan) but they are very expensive countries to manufacture. Other countries have better labor cost, but they deliver very low quality vehicles in return. Finally, if someone can tell you how different the hilux and the tacoma are is a Mexican, because it is the only country that gets both models. The tacoma is a lifestyle/luxury/off road vehicle while the Hilux is a very capable and reliable working pickup truck. Hilux has less safety features, smaller engines, lower trim equippment, feels cheaper inside, looks cheaper outside and is cheaper than the tacoma by far. BTW, I love USA made things, most of it is great quality. But mexican cars are really made tough. If you want to know a cheap made car try one made in Brazil or south east Asia.

@@Just-Steve Good question! How about to put a thick shield around it with a locking mechanism, that owners can have an access with a special key? It will be ALSO a better heat resistant, I guess. Sure, it's not 100% preventable, but will not be easy just to cut with a saw in 5 minutes... ✌️

Amazingly clever. My questions are: 1. How difficult is the install? Can this be done with a mail order kit and wrenches or does it require specialist body work? 2. Is this a delicate assembly and does this modification endanger the function of the taillight? You appear to be handling the locking mechanisms, hinged taillight assembly, and sliding rifle tray extremely carefully, almost like you are afraid of breaking something, in the video.

We sell the product as a kit. Modifications to the bodywork are necessary for installation. The whole construction is very stable, in the film it only looks that way because we wanted to show it very slowly so that you can understand the function behind it. We will post another video to prove the strength. When the rear light is pushed in and locked, the rear light is completely solid and vibration-proof.

Anyone willing to buy a secret compartment for their rifle would buy a scope that could handle it. Quality rifle Scopes are waterproof to like 30 meters for half an hour and more shock resistant than your phone.

I don't understand why they feel the need to hide the gun like that ? Definitely a cool compartment though . I would have zero use putting my gun there lol rifle stays in the front seat where I live 🤷

You know how many guns are stolen a year from trucks. There's definitely a use for it and if you need it most educated free men have a pistol that will escort them to the rear of the truck to retrieve it.

@@mikie1466 As mentioned earlier, different countries have different customs. Obviously you come from a country where a gun is only there to shoot each other. So much for the subject of "educated" ... As already mentioned, the product was developed for hunters and sport shooters and meets all requirements for the transport of weapons in Europe. This includes, for example, that the storage space does not have to be visible and lockable. This product meets both of these rules.
