I could've gotten a way better car than a Corolla in bottomfeeder trim on the secondary market and actually pass people on the interstate. Why nobody respects that car is because of who buys it and brags about how long it lasts. That's like going to a casino and bragging about how many times the house wins

I had an AE101 Corolla as my first car and it never let me down, even after a couple collisions and running it dry of oil.

They missed the second best corolla model after ae86 , the ke70 (1980-1983) rwd layout and very similar suspension and chassis to the ae86 in-fact pretty much all the suspension and drivetrain from ae86 is bolt on fit on the ke70 even the 4age with t50 fits bolt on from the ae86 to ke70.

Yeap 1979 to 1982 1.8 3tc that came on base 1.8 , wagon , SR5 1.8 and 1983 same body but 1.6 cc not 2tc the one with spark plugs on the side before twins cam love corollas I actually own a 2017 Corolla SE never got a problem in Puerto Rico we get the Toyo glide before Corolla with the 1,200 cc engine some country's get different names on verry similar models and trims nice video donut I'm enjoy this videos every day thanks James Miguel from Boston MA

I believe my dad's old Corolla during the late Seventies was a SR5 Coupe. It's a good thing it was brown because it matched the ever-increasing amount of rust the car was accumulating over the years! You could see the road through the floor! 😁 It was a fun little car! I was always fascinated by how easy he made it look driving a manual. Never got the chance to learn how to drive with it. I only started driving a manual on a regular basis last summer when I bought a manual Fiat 500 Abarth.

The early 2000's Corolla had such a high ride height my dad and I went camping at Big Bend and kept up with all the trucks when we went to our backwoods camp sight. It was nice

Delivery driving and switched from a 2004 Grand Prix to a 2010 corolla. Biggest seller for me is how reliable they are. The Grand Prix is my favorite but the corolla has a parking spot everywhere and it doesn’t really break. Only thing I’ve had go wrong so far was the battery. It did so in a Walmart parking lot. A Walmart that sold batteries. Thanks corolla

My first car was a Toyota Corolla E12, 2003. I loved it. A few years later, I am proud owner of the successor (here in Germany called the Auris for whatever reason). I got rid of the Auris in the back and branded it a corolla again. Love my car. :)

I still remember my dads blue 96 Corolla he bought in 2005 when him and my mom moved here from Pakistan, such great memories, the only thing wrong with it was the door handle somehow broke so I had to reach over and open it from the inside and also the power steering failed so it was a workout to drive 😂

I drive a 2019 wagon/estate(uk) hybrid everyday as a taxi. Amazing car. 60mpg and easy to drive. Fantastic vehicle. Great video!

My corolla makes 255 hp after I built up the motor the automatic transmission is still holding up at 170k miles and all I have broken was axles and went through tires i absolutely love this thing

As an 05 XRS owner, gotta clarify actual redline is 8250rpm. Lift activates at 6700rpm. Party trick that never gets old and surprises all, freakin love this car 8)

This is a FACT. my dad had an SR5 when he went to college in Tennessee in the 80's. He loved that thing to death, and his Datsun 510. He loved them so much. He decided when he comes home back to Indonesia, he would buy both cars again and teach me cars. I swear on my life, I will take care of both the SR5 and the Datsun.

11:51 Peak HP is at 7600, the Corolla XRS actually revs to 8200 but that engine is put up to 8600 in other models

had a geo metro when i was like 17 . was one of my first 5 speeds , breaks were siezed all around i spent hours buying this car cause i was young and dumb ... but ill def admit canada made a good job at making a geo a fun car for as teenager was def a learning curve . now i own a lifted 3rd gen 4runner 5 speed lol

CursedChad I have had that same exact conversation but substitute all models of Honda for the recommendations. Then people buy Chrysler products and ask me to fix them when they brake.
