I own a 2006 Yaris with a MMT, at lower gears (and in heavy traffic) it’s a pain in the azz driving my car, up shifts / down shifts are slow and feels like you driving a manual car and shifting urself. I reprogramed the gearbox many times. At one point i had to buy a new actunator, also new clutch (+ reprogammed ofc because it won’t move and gears won’t engage) but that wasn’t a big deal, i did that myself. I had all those problems at 3.5 years of ownership & only +44K Km’s in total. Still have the car tho, i hope big problems will stay away from me😅 This was my first car and i don’t want you guys do the same mistake i did😂Avoid MMT

@@erwinvanriel5843 I do don't konw about the car but the transmssion they say it is bad because is more expansiv to fix and there is a bigger chans and things go wrong. It is converted transmission and not a real auto look it up on Google and KZread.

Semi auto transmission same as in Yaris at the time, not good at all, it is called multimode it is very bad

Why? I have one. It‘s not bad at all. I mostly shift with stick since i live in a rural area with high elevation where i have to use engine brake a lot. But the transmission is amazing actually.
