The Best Video of this being done. I have seen other videos of people breaking corners not knowing how to properly take it out. Thank you so much! Now I can remove mine and have the CD player fixed.😊

DIY For Noobs has created what appears to be a professionally-produced self-help video! This fantastic video is a comprehensive, clearly-recorded, excellently-narrated, near-perfect illustration/instruction of a potentially-confusing car audio project. For the clarity and convenience of viewer, two potential textual additions might be: • The SIZE of the car stereo deck HOLE (so viewer may more easily find a replacement stereo deck), even if that detail is "universal Toyota sedan car stereo deck hole". • A more specific description of the PLASTIC PRY TOOL used, with a hint of WHERE a viewer may obtain/purchase a similar tool for this DIY project. Thank you for this impressive production. This video creates the desire to see MORE DIY PROJECTS performed and depicted by DIY For Noobs!

great video, very clear and easy to follow. I just watched another video of some guys trying to also remove the a.c. vents and you made it look so easy. I hope my experience will be mote like yours because the a.c. vents seemed difficult to remove. thanks for the great video!

DO you have any idea what the 2nd antenna on the back is? One is definitely the primary antenna but the second one right next to it I can't figure out what it is

Great Video. I am curious as to identifying the problem. Radio player was working and would fade out...then come back on. As if it was losing power. After a period of time, it completely stopped. I thought maybe it was the speakers or the amplifier (under the passenger seat). But by chance, I tried the CD player and it worked....but it too was short lived. Faded out completely like the radio. I've gone a few months without getting it fixed because I was going to get rid of the car. I've decided to keep it. Your video has inspired me to take on this. My question is, how do I know for sure it is the radio or could it be a wiring problem? Any suggestions?

Try removing the wiring from the radio and plug them back in. That will eliminate the suspicion about loose wire connections. If that doesn't fix the problem, i would like to assume that the radio may have gone bad due to aging. (20+ years)

DIY For Noobs thank you! I’ll check it out, but I don’t really want to order it. But if it comes to it i will. Please send me one if you find it, I bought a frame and it was the wrong wiring harnesses.

Hate to say it but it's not actually this easy on most cars. You'll find most clips are very stuck

It depends on what you are trying to do. If you are replacing a stereo as a plug and play method, you don't really have to disconnect the battery. :)

@@cocomaster3755 Yes when you do that, it would be definitely a good idea to disconnect the battery cables.
