    Such nice cars, mine has a battery discharge issue at the moment. Battery is being drained by something. I've pulled fuses and still the battery is going flat over a few days. Nothing fused seems to stop it. Alternator is charging at +13volts at start up. Battery measures 12.7volts at shut down then next morning 11.8volts. Need to get it to an auto electrician. Very frustrating fault.

    Also my left front tyre seems to wear a shoulder on the tread causing the pull to the left. So I just rotate the tyres more often and that problem goes away. Besides that the car is incredibly reliable. I've has mine for more than 260K kms, had the sticky replaced and faulty oil feed line replaced by Toyota they were the only issues I've had in 10+ years

    One of the most reliable engines ever made along side the Ford falcon , we have a 2010 aurion with 320 thousand on it and have owned it for 5 years, regular oil changes and transmission flush and filter and they should do half a million kays, the go well plenty of power for a family car, only downside is that it doesn't handle like a rear wheel drive but thats ok I have other toys for having fun .

  • @MaxReviewss

    @MaxReviewss

    2 жыл бұрын

    11L/Km is equivalent to about 9 L/100km which is not bad at all for a 3.5L V6. There are few variables like road/commute type, temperature, idle time, driving habits, etc... also very important is the tyre pressure that for the sportivo version I suggest no less than 31 psi...

Water pump have to raise the engine to replace that. Toyota quote around $1500. Alternator. Well I hope your a mechanic for that job. Drive belt tensioner. You guessed it not for the home mechanic. Idle pulleys. Well ok that’s to hard. Replace rear vvt rubber oil pipe as they rot and split with age. And of coarse that sticky dashboard replaced. Toyota reliability well that is just a joke.
