This is absolutely my dream build too, the oem plus look is just amazing for this car and this color fits so well it’s incredible

i agree with not needing more horsepower but with my 86, getting headers and removing the tourqe dip is amazing

good job, less is more. great color pattern, sick wheels, subtle black roof, black side mirrors. really nice.

100% right on all counts. I own an 860 and the platform is super underrated. I think time will see this car as a real gem in the JDM timeline of cars. Only think I’m going to do is the headers and a tune to just get the torque dip out of there. Otherwise when you’re in the backroads connecting apexes you realize the power is more than enough. Great job on making it look amazing and not ruining it which so many do.

Hello the link you provided in description for the side skirt they are not selling anymore, do you have another source for the side skirts?

200hp is plenty, 300hp is better, 400hp is even better.

Hey man I gotta ask, is there a cheaper site you can find the kit on? And how easy were the LEDs to wire up on the lip? Definitely don’t see a lot of TRD kits on the road, gorgeous car man I’d love to do it to mine in the future

Not trying to hate but you def should've gotten the manual tranny. Not only is it much more fun but for the 2017-2020s, they got a host of nice oem upgrades that only came with the manuals. Rest of the is nice though (the mods are tasteful for sure). Btw, I had a 2015 manual FRS with a very similar factory color (Ultra Marine Blue). Miss that thing but planning on getting the new 2022+

Nah, the auto is so much better for daily driving. The manual is very notchy and with a simple gearbox tune, the auto is faster too.

@@TheFlameFoxx the automatic in the 86/brz were never faster. They have longer gear ratio keeping them out of the power band and lower top speed. This is a known fact every car reviewer knows this

No, even though it’s a 2018, it’s a base model so we don’t get it on this trim level. If you want that, you have to get the 86 GT Limited

@@nikolaiiaksenov European spec gets the upgraded interior and the fog lights. There’s a lower and higher trim in NA which has different interiors.
