Looks like a Ford Explorer ... But that's a good thing. The Ford Explorer is very clean. The 4runner is clean too with these lights, so I might go with this version of the morimoto.

idk, the gen 1 tail lights fits to the name "4RUNNER" better than these gen 2's. imho. but can't wait to install these next week 😅

The new gen 2 tails looks awesome but when not lit they kind of look like the stock tails on a 2016-2019 Ford Explorer.

Would be nice is the night light has a thicker bar

It's on a Westcott lift. Wheel Size is 17x8.5 (inch wider than stock) with a -10 offset with 285/70/17 tires

they're starting to grow on me. how do these perform in direct sunlight? my concern with most aftermarket lights is that they get washed out in the sun, making it hard for others to see.

Personally wasn't sold on them until I had them mounted up. Check out the Lightwerkz instagram or Facebook. We've got pics in direct sunlight and they are super bright. No compromises on these!

Its literally just personal preference. I think the smoked looks great with all the dark accents on this particular one. I can see red working on a more stock build.

Dont like that the blinker and brake lights are shared. Not a good design safety wise.

They look good but why couldn't they put the backup light across the bottom where you need it ?? If they did that I would buy them.

Had the original taillight been smoked on top instead of clear and chrome, I would have been okay with the original one. Why Toyota did that is a mystery.

They are definitely nice, nicer then gen 1. Where morimoto misses the mark is not having a start up sequence.

I’m a little more interested now that I’ve seen the 5 year warranty. Pretty nice. 👍🤪🏳️‍🌈

OEM is better

Alpharex better looks than this in my opinion because I got one, peoples maybe different .
