jus tinstalled some on my volvo c30 and these are great... I had the previous version of observe on my car and they lasted me 3 seasons in Quebec.. which is.. pretty rare giving I drive about 20k annual with winter tires.

Thank you Zack for informative review. I'm looking for winter tires for Nissan Titan.

Zack, can you comment on how the Toyo GSi-5 tire compares to the Sumitomo Ice Edge tires, both are from Japan based companies, similarly priced and available through Walmart. The application is 2012 VW Touareg located in West Michigan. Can you also advise which size is best for vehicle control in slush and wet snow between 235/65R18, 245/60R18 and 255/55R18?

Yes, man, i use this Toyos in Russia ;) It is japan made and really good wheeling on winter snowy and icy roads. But be sure, this one is not for offroad.

Yes, the GSi-6 are certainly flying off the shelf this fall.

I just order my Toyo Observe GSI-6 for my 2007 Honda CR-V I tried Nokian tires for more then 8 years and bridgestone Blizzak for more then 6 years what I learn in this years studded tires are bad and also I was not happy with bridgestone blizzak and Nokian for SUV tires, I like Nokian tires without studded and narrow rims, but I decided to give a try to Toyo Observe.

Looks like a Toyo commercial to me.
